Comment:

Dr. Clark is a very fun and animated professor. He is knowledgable in the courses he teaches but has a habit of colorful story telling(completely off subject)that often hindered progression in the class as well as preparation on tests. I did not feel that the grading curve was fair. I thought curves helped. The curve killed my grade in this class.

hate the grading on the curve. My 87% turned into a D+ because of his curve, and my friend in another section had a 84% that was a B... I learned more from study groups discussing the book than i did in his classroom.

Though he is entertaining, I don't think cussing in a religions class is appropriate. His instructions are vague at best and his grading scale is atrocious. You have to be a good-looking female to get an A in his class. Talks about sex, A LOT. Most of what I learned I gleaned from readings, not from his lectures.

Fun professor! His classes were memorable and interesting. The grading was tricky because of the curve, but I took it pass/fail and was able to enjoy it without worrying about my grade.

A pain, but a great prof. Don't expect to coast through any of his classes or expect pat answers and you'll do fine. He distances himself from dicussions that tend toward vain arguments - this can frustrate some, but in the end he gives a humble and insightful look at doctrine and theology.

Since I'm comparing him to Stewart, he's wonderful! Entertaining and fun to listen to. I honestly think I learned more in this doctrine than the first or the intro class i took at Westmont.
