He was hands down my favorite and the most inspirational teacher in the Biology Department when I was there. I also participated in BASE (Beaver Association for Special Athletes back in the day:)and that when i really noticed how funny and caring he was.

Even though his class was not easy, he was a wonderful teacher. I will never forget when he told the class, prior to passing out the final exam, "Look, whether you pass or fail won't really matter in 20 years so relax." 4 star prof!

Raymond is the man of my dreams.i love him so much because he's a good person and very passionate about what he is teaching, and has a good sense of humor. He was always willing to help me, I wish I took advantage of that more. My favorite part of the class was all the witty things he'd say on the side. I would write them down and I now have a collection of "marginal discourse by Raymond" I often look back at these and giggle! He has been THE prof. that has/will define my college career.

Also had him for genetics. He is a great teacher. His tests can be a little hard, but he is always avaible to talk to. He has notes available and he pays attention to people he thinks is having difficulties. Would definitely recommend over anyone in the bio department
