Mr Chase ass got the right personality to teach in a memorable way. I will never forget the way he talked about brazing: the surface of the steel metal getting RED hot and as a result, PORES open up and allow the brass in before cooling and locking the surfaces together. Very helpful, always willing to help troubleshoot during practice. Good times!

pasadena welding is a joke, if you really want to learn how to weld to actually do it for a job I'd go to mt sac, this guy chase is kind of a character, he likes to talk liberal politics. pcc welding teaches you the wrong techniques, this is a good place if you are close and you just want to hobby weld do spend the the money on the book, never used

Chase is a character. He has a huge amount of experience in all types of welding. He'll answer your question and help you if you are having trouble. Attendance is the #1 factor for grading. You don't need the book, use google. He may seem intimidating at first, but he's nice. Women may feel intimidated as there is definitely a boy's club atmosphere

Chase is the absolute best. Passionate about what welding and eager to share it with students. Take is class seriously and show up, you will get a good grade. No BS, with grades, you truly get what you deserve. Really fun class.

Mr Chase is the greatest teacher ever. He acts like a tough guy and seems like a jerk at first but he is really, really cool. He is always willing to help out and teach you. I learned alot from him, and so can you. Thanks Mr. Chase
