I took Zoology from Jim Sellers in 1977-78, when I was a Freshman. I still think about certain things I learned in his class - almost 40 years later! I thought he was an outstanding professor. I ended up on this site when I decided to look on the internet to see what he is doing now. One of the best teachers I had in 3 colleges!

this class was hard. The test were multiple choice but then there was other parts to it just so you know. In written essay format and fill in the blanks. They were hard. Hes nice funny and interesting but really hard to pass...If you bring him treat he might help you more also give you extra credit. Bring him muffins he asked for those

what is interesting about this man is his auto-phallic ability that he demonstrates during office hours. insists that you call him "doctor" because he's a biologist. complete tool--his wife left him. all-around cork in the butt kinda guy. no, seriously. i guarantee these other raters are the few who suck up enough to get a good grade.

Great teacher, very hard class. Worst part is the field trips that you MUST do on your own time, other than that as long as you do your work you will pass the class...if you want an A you'll have to work really really hard at it.

Comment:

Super teaching ability, with multi-media approach, and years of experence. Dr. Sellers tops the chart as THE best professor at COS. If you want to learn and dont fear a challenge, take the class... If you are weak at heart, leave now. The lab was amazing, fun, and second to none.

The man rocks! I learned so much more than biology in his class-- I discovered my love for film editing in his class and am now on my way to turning that into a career!! Great field trips, too. Tests were difficult but if you actually read the text and review your notes then you should do fine.
