All HW, quizzes, and exams are entirely online! Class is super boring. He cancels class often. If you want to actually learn, he is not the professor for you. He is very smart--but terrible at teaching.

The material in this class has to be the hardest I've ever had in any class so far. Very confusing, really tedious, and if you're not interested in tax, really boring. The homework, quizzes, and exams are nearly impossible if you dont read the textbook, but they are all online. He's a nice guy and he does try to teach it, but this is a tough class

Accounting is just dull, but this prof is a great one. He is pretty lenient on the tests as long as you put something. Final is ridiculous, but I passed. Homework is optional. He is a very sociable guy, a tax lawyer, CPA and a bunch of other letters after his name. Will teach you some real life stuff. Taking him again for ACC2

I took Dr. Marmon for both tax classes and really enjoyed his stories and his teaching stye. He def turned me on to tax as a career choice. He'll open your eyes to govt secrets and the power of tax. Def take him. He's hot so it might be hard to focus.

Dr. Marmon opened my eyes to the power of tax. As an accounting major I wasn't sure what direction to pursue but his teaching style and life stories turned me on to a career in tax. He will blow your mind with govt secrets behind the whole tax system. Def take him exams are brutal but study and u will do well. He's hot so it may be hard to focus.

Great teacher. I hated accounting when I took it before and I was dreading this class, he made it fun and I actaully understood it. He does give hw, but it isn't due till test day. Test reviews are awesome and is usually exactly what is on the test just different numbers. I would take him again instantly.

He is one of the nicest professors at Rowan. Although he gets off topic all the time, he is very smart & cares a lot about his students. Tests are mostly MC with a couple problems..overall, tests are tough, but he grades on a curve. Requires a few HW probs from ea. chapter to be handed in with each exam (hey, free points!). You'll love him!!

Accounting sucks! I feel bad because hes such a nice guy and his heart is in the right place but he cant teach. Hes an attorney so i dont even know why he is teaching. Hes funny though and he never gets enough sleep so hes always groggy. He is a goofball

He is a horrible teacher, at least with taxes. His tests are open book but you have to know everything on your own because he can't teach. He even told us that the material is i9nteresting stuff but he's not teaching it right. Avoid him if you can.

Very hard material, but it's not his fault. It's the fault of our government for making such convoluted tax laws -- a point he hammers into at the beginning of class. Good guy and fair grader.
