He didnt teach, he listened to videos or music and wrote assignments to do on the board and then said turn them in when youre done and you can leave. No explanations on the book were given

Prof. Sarkisian was a pretty well around professor. If you attend all of his classes and do the work you will walk out with a C or higher. He does in class assignments that really help your grade and only makes you copy down end of the chapter terms for homework to understand whats being taught. His tests are logical answers in business situations

I had him for 4 accounting and finance classes. It is not an easy A and some times I did feel a little overwhelmed with work in FIN-213 online, but I really did learn. He is easy to work with if you show you care about his class. You definitely get what you give.

I had Professor Sarkisian for both Financial & Managerial Accounting at CCC. When I transferred to Rutgers, I knew way more than the students who took those classes there. If you are serious about learning accounting, you want Professor Sarkisian. He will get you prepared. I am acing all my accounting classes at Rutgers so far! Thanks Professor!

Had Prof. Sarkisian for both ACC-104/105, a solid choice for both. He goes through all types of problems expected of you in depth on the board in class; write down everything on the board in your notes and you will do fine. HW reinforces work done in class mostly, same on test. I feel I learned far more from him than would have from diff prof.

The class is a self-taught. Homework is answering end of the chap. discussion questions plus, but the hw is not graded & worth 30%. The following week you receive photo copies of teachers edition ans from long ago. The tests are open book, in the testing centers answers are straight from the book and both mid-term and and final total 70% .

Had him for my first ever Accounting course, Financial Accounting. Covers a lot of material in class and reinforces it with homework following nearly every class. Knows what he is talking about, and if you keep up with your notes and make sure you understand everything afterwards you will do fine. No homework effort / constant no show F

Good person, bad teacher. Doesn't teach the fundamentals and rarely engages is the class in how to learn, he basically talks at you for the entirety of class and then you leave. Be ready to learn everything from the book if you want a good grade.

If you do the homework, ask questions when necessary, and bring everything with you for the test... You will get an A Professor does have clear grading, responds to emails/questions, would definitely take again.

Took on-line class. Gave wrong title of text required for course. When questioned, again gave wrong title. Took class on-line, for a reason. Required to take mid-term and final at testing center on campus (OPEN BOOK). Both exams were poor copies of copies using bubble scan cards! No reason exams couldn't have been done via WebStudy. LAZY, IMO!

(3) Exams, weekly homework and a note-card assignment. Extra Credit for your homework grade is readily available upon asking. Exams account for 85%, Homework and note-card assignment is 15%. Professor S. is a funny dude if you're not too sensitive. Calls on you during class for homework, know your stuff-seriously... Grading is very lenient.

The homework is easy if you do the reading, slides and wiley plus. The tests are just as easy if you bring your books. Open booknote exams. Professor offers extra credit and does everything to help you get a C or Higher. I received an D on the Mid Term, and an A on my homework and left the course with a C after the Final. 70% Test30% HW.

ppl have to understand that nothing is just GIVEN to them because they expect it. i personally think sarkisian is a great prof, he does what he can to help students out. his class is always fun to attend & his works are straightforward. his tests may not be the easiest ones out there, but its the students job to study and understand the material

He is a college professor, not a high school or middle school teacher!! If you are immature and want a high school setting, do not take his sections! If you participate/ do your homework/ refrain from talking texting & etc/ come to class/ he will help you, like you, and give you an A; and you will find he is a very easy, helpful, and good prof.

I had him for accounting 101 and he was great. he does problems on the board every day which helps you understand how to record it on tests. if you miss a class he allows you to attend his other class so you dont get points off. lots of homework, but read and do homework and you will be fine. the homework is usually identical to problems in class.
