The silliest teacher ever, made me laugh often and would get off subject alot. he's a jolly happy nice guy, but a horrible teacher. His tests were the hardest tests of my life. The wording was very complex. But he gave alot of extracredict so i almost got an A.

trade off with someone as far as going to class. He doesn't seem to be able to hold to anything he says. In many situations he was changing his mind and not giving definite answers to things like changing test dates and extra credit. If you need a science credit, this is the easiest one to take.

Comment:

Dr. Robert Carlson (the DRC) is a shining man-god. The few dull moments were overshadowed by his awe-inspiring personality. If you never cared about ecology, I assure you the DRC will have you crying about infertile pandas by the end of the semseter. Shine on, DRC, shine on.

He's not bad the class is. Its really boring material and its a chore to go to the class. He is really helpful outside of class and the attendence and webct quizzes help a lot. just make sure you take all the quizzes cuz they bring your grade up a letter grade practically.

The class isn't particularly hard it's just extremely boring, and you have to go to class to be able to fill in the notes that he posts on WebCT. However, you're able to raise your grade about a letter grade b/c of the online quizzes that you can retake until you get a 100.

Great guy. However, ecology is a horrible class. He tries to make it interesting but fails miserably. I skipped most of his classes because they were so boring. The lab is also horrible. If you do not have to take this class, don't, you will bed a better person for not taking it.

hes a really nice guy. kinda funny. understanding and clear. great lecture teacher..so hes cool. he has online quizzes that you can take over and over until you get all questions right, i ended up with a B over all with all C's on my tests...
