Comment:

Dr. Dumas was alright in Mental Health. Exams really aren't too difficult, as long as you study. He clearly outlines important points that you should expect to be questioned by on the exam. He mentions things in class that end up being on the exam, so attendance is important. Does a good job at explaining.

I liked him as a professor and he seemed to really understand and support us as students but when it came down to it he didn't really help me when I needed it. Mental Health in general is difficult because its not like medsurg where there is a clear process and reasoning. It kind of you either get it or not. Paper I mirrored ex and still not good

He is STILL the bomb. Funny, relaxed, respectful, genuine, establishes and maintains a professional relationship between himself and students, does not suffer fools lightly, and is not afraid to laugh with the class even at his own expense. He tells you what you need to know, no ESP required, just pay attention! Empathetic to the human condition.

Dr. Dumas is the bomb! Take him for psych (not like you have a choice!) He tells you exactly what you need to know. Weekly quizzes keep you up on the material. He keeps you awake in class with his vocie. Always makes sly comments and jokes. Class/material is fun/interesting! Bring book to class-highlight what he tells you you need to "own".

A great teacher! If you put forth an honest effort in his class you will be rewarded for it. He is approachable, always true to his word, dependable, and a great role model. You should consider yourself lucky to be able to have him for a teacher. He really cares about his students and is happy to help anybody. All you have to do is ask.

I had Dumas for lab and even though the lab was so easy, I didnt learn much. He was never around to show us how to do stuff. He can be funny at times and is somewhat understanding. Open book quizzes, and a little lab book work-nothing major. He cracks jokes and brings his chair with him everywhere!! Not a bad professor. I wish I learned more though
