Comment:

Dr. C is awesome. He is very caring and gentle, a teddy bear really, but he knows how and when to push you to do your best. He also has a SICK sense of humor, which I LOVE! He passes around candy in class that's in a small toilet bowl, talks about "dead" frozen dogs, and reads books about boogers. He's GREAT!

I took Colbert for Language Arts in Education. He is a good teacher, but I thought he was kinda scarey... The midterm was torture and extremely hard. He is VERY strict on attendance. If it's an 8 am class, DO NOT BE LATE! He takes off a lot of points if you miss class. If you do well on the other assignments, you'll do fine...I still got a 4.0

Dr. Colbert's class is very demanding. He expects you to be in class everyday, on time everyday, no excuses. He is very funny and charming at times but do not upset him because he can definitely be sarcastic and make you feel dumb..He is very smart and knows exactly what he is talking about most of the time

Dr. Colbert is one of the most amazing professors at Fitchburg State. He is truly brilliant and really knows his stuff. He genuinely cares about his students and makes every effort to establish a professional relationship of some kind with them. You have to work in his class. Pay attention to him because his information is useful!

Well....I have graduated and have a job! Yes, I am teaching school. Dr. Colbert was ONE professor that I wished I had paid more attention. Stuff he was teaching is right on target with what I face each day with my students. He knows his stuff! He was tough! But now I appreciate the work. Teaching is real WORK and Colbert prepared me for it!

Good teacher, but not a nice guy unless you're one of his favorites. Arrogant and sarcastic. His classes went well, but he was a real jerk if anything went wrong or he got called on mistakes he made.

I was late twice and he pulled me outside and told me he didnt know how i had gotten this far (in school). i was very offended. I read that he's one of the highest paid teachers at fsc and he certainly is pompous. he's most the reason I switched majors. hes your best friend or your worst enemy.

Dr. Colbert is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He assigns a lot of work, but in the end it is all worth it. He makes his students want to be more!
