Comment:
Taking 1120 with Glinksi was a mistake, but he was the only professor open on an off semester. His teaching style is traditional whiteboard lecture, if it can be called teaching. There are only a few grades in his class. He frequently makes basic algebra mistakes while teaching. I feel like for the most part he was off in his own world.

Write down exactly what he puts on the board and bring those notes to the (open note) exams. Definitely get the book and possibly the solution manual as well. Don't worry about your absolute grade, he'll tell you where you need to be in relation to the rest of the class to get the grade you want. Definitely attend all classes.

Write down everything he puts on the board. Know that stuff and bring those notes to the (open note) exams. Also definitely buy the book, and probably the solution manual. Don't worry about your absolute grade, just look at where you are in relation to the rest of the class. And don't expect to know everything. Impossible.

Dr. Glinski is hands down one of the worst professors I have taken here at Tech. He is so scatter brained and confusing to even attempt to understand or even listen to in class. He is old school and doesn't believe in technology. He teaches from the chalk board drawing a bunch of messy diagrams and expects his students to understand.

Robert Glinski is an odd professor to evaluate. He gives big curves, so I can't say he doesn't care if you pass, but he does not teach very well in lecture. In fact, I learned next to nothing there and had to read the book twice to get an A. I would not recommend him if you either want to learn or pass easily. He will make you work for it.

Glinski means well, but he has NO grading rubric. It's like he tosses the papers onto the stairs and gives you the grades accordingly. Many questions are open ended with no clear answer.

Good Pchem Professor. He is a little off the wall and loopy at times, but he is funny and usually keeps the class involved. However, you do have to do a lot of work for the course and the material is pretty challenging. If your taking Pchem here, this is the guy to take it from.

Not only did the class meet at 7:30, but he made it hard to stay awake. Dr Glinski is monotoned and scatterbrained. He wants you to do well in his class, but he is very random. He gives homework and its just basically a participation grade. Overall, take him because Dr Albu is probably teaching it next time. Have fun with that!

Well he is definitely out there in his own world. Going to class is a must, he gives out take home quizzes and attendance quizzes. He dropped our lowest 2 quiz grades. The notes from class really didn't help me much, just know equations from the book. He is a nice guy, but real loony.

Glinski is def not your average prfessor. He's a little loopy, but he knows his stuff. Easy C, but you really have to work for an A or be. Dont sweat failing test grades as they are pretty common. I reccomend showing up for class though because he does like to give take home quizzes from time to time.

Hard class, tests aren't really fair because the answers come from random places in the book, so if you are fast you can look them up, if not you do badly. But he is a good guy and wants everyone to do well. He curves a bit and will help you out if you need it.

Honestly I dont think I understood one thing Dr. Bob said in his lectures because they are so off the wall. But he knows who does and doesnt come so go to the lectures, no matter how boring (you will def. get a laugh at some of the crazy stuff he says). Pretty much you can fail everything up till his final and still get a passing grade.

Dr. Bob is an excellent professor. He wants you to get the 'big picture' and does not dwell of details (equations!). His tests are free response and they can be a beast, but you can use your notes/text on the exams. I actually gained an appreciation for physical chemistry that year.

If you read the book, this class is a breeze. The tests are very easy and cover just the fundamentals. The only problem is that he doesn't explain the fundamentals in class, so if your a visual learner, I don't recommend taking Dr. Bob. He's spacy, and a little quircky but is very easy going and lenient. Loves to curve.

The material in this course is extremely difficult, but just do well in comparison to everyone else and you'll do well. Dr. Bob is cool in a weird, dry-humored sort of way.

Dr. Bob is an absolute genius, however he is a little spacy and will sometimes leave this planet in lecture. Curves very big at the end so dont worry about low test scores.

Dr. Bob means well, and he tries, although I don't know that I've understood more than a few sentences all semester. He tends to ramble. Write down everything he does, go to the help lab, and read the book. Not terribly hard. He'll help you if you try
