She turns off the lights and uses a slideshow. The room is hot too. She talks quietly. And in the end everyone falls asleep in the class.

I feel asleep in her class because the lights are dim and the room is dark she talks in a quiet voice. She says buy a textbook but you dont need it because she gives the slides up there. She reviews for tests. She's a vampire when it comes to phone hide it. You'll pass if you just take proper notes and show up.

Comment:

If you take good notes and pay attention, the tests aren't too difficult. She really likes participation, but it's not mandtory. Just don't spend the class on your phone and you'll be good. It's one of those writing intensive classes, but she's not a difficult grader when it comes to the papers. She provides opportunities for extra credit.

Her love for this subject is very obvious which makes it fun, you need to take notes because she will add extra background info on the artist/work which will be on the test. No homework, the grades are based on a paper and three (non-cumulative) tests that we review for so they are easy. Don't take your phone out during this class

The best Art professor at City Tech. She has the best stories, she makes art interesting by giving you a small backstory on the artwork. Take very precise notes they help. You shouldn't fail this class, pay attention and don't cheat she will catch you. She is amazing and id take her again if I could!

She is my first favorite professor I've had at City Tech. She even has the most hilarious stories. she always gives breaks during classes and as long as you pay attention and take good notes, you'll be fine. Highly recommend taking her. shes awesome

The best professor I've ever had at tech, she has the best stories! Her exams are naming the art work, it's civilization and date. Don't cheat she WILL catch you! Pretty simple to study, she gives extra credit and does not tolerate people who constantly use thier phones. I'd take her class over and over again she's the best!

She talks about what you need to know, make sure you are READY to take notes, I was given a B+ in the class but literally in the beginning of the class I was uninterested and bored for like 10 classes straight, then I actually paid attention one day and listened to her lecture and she's a real down to earth person and funny, You won't regret it....

Her lectures are boring, you should pay attention since everything she says is on her exams. She expects to you remember topics on exams that she doesn't even go over, but reviews before exams. Attendance matters and no homework! Gives extra credit. She's really slow at teaching. Extremely easy class though.

She goes over what you need to know before the test but except for true or false questions. She sometimes excepts you to remember something that you she mention classes before. But it wasn't a bad class. A little boring at times but as long as you study you'll be fine.

She is passionate when it come to teaching, but if you simply don't like art it will be a boring class, she doesn't let you use your phone while in class, i would strongly suggest to take notes, the tests are easy for you will have to memorize the paintings.

Her knowledge of using computers is lacking and needs help from students everytime she uses it. IF SHE IS GOING TO USE A COMPUTER FOR CLASSTIME, SHE SHOULD GET HELP BEFORE CLASS STARTS. Tests are very hard. Memorizing paintings and names A MUST. Takes attendance for 5 minutes + setting up projector 15 minutes. CLASS IS SO BORING.

She's a nice lady, but the worst professor I've ever had. Only tells you a small portion of what's on the test, does not hold your interest, and will catch a fit if you leave the room (even if its for the bathroom). The semester's not done yet but I just had to let you guys know.

please please please dont take this professor !!! she speaks SO LOW, doesnt write anything on the board except abt 4-7 names of paintings and artists. she is never clear on what an exam will be on, when you get the exam, like 65 percent wasnt even mentioned. she is very forgettful, and doesnt engage students. not interesting AT ALL! struggling clas

Loved having this professor. She was kind and always able to relate the topic to a story of some kind. She was a wonderfully quirky professor that i'm glad i had the chance to meet. I would definitely recommend taking her class.
