I took this class as a pre-requisite to move up to Math 170, and I have to say I learned more in his math class than I ever did from any other teacher. He teaches in a way that is strong in understanding and easier to get a hold of the concepts. Homework is optional, but is recommended because the only points in the class come from tests.

Fantastic teaching. He really cares about the subject and motivates. There's no homework buffer so be prepared to have your grade rest on your tests only. Assigns homework as practice though, which is definitely worth your time. Great feedback especially during one-on-one. Answers any questions, fair grader. You'll have to work for it!

The grade in the class is based of 5 tests. Problems from the tests come straight from the HW and lectures. His class is definitely hard, especially the first two tests but he's an amazing professor and explains problems very well. I didn't get the grade I wanted but I can say this is the most math I've learned throughout my entire academic career.

One of my favorite professors at ECC, as he is incredibly passionate about math, and wants to see you succeed. Very down to earth guy and is always willing to help on a tricky problem. First two tests felt tough, but once you get past there, the class isn't so daunting, if you can get through that, then you will likely pass. Hard, but def recommend

This guy lives and breathes mathematics. He makes the occasional joke, which makes his lectures somewhat light-hearted, but calc 2 will always be hard no matter what teacher you choose. His class requires standard work: show up to class, do the homework, study for the tests. An A isn't handed to you in his class.

He is awesome. I loved his lecture and he tells you what to expect on tests. You have to work for your grade, but it is not that hard. Just pay attention in class and you should do fine.

Outstanding lectures and content. He's funny too. I took this class last semester and just finished calculus this semester. I appreciate his class much more after taking calc: I was well-prepared enough that calc was easy. Gave a thorough review of trig, which I appreciate now.

Class is always started with him asking if anyone has questions,if not he will move on and assume you know the material. He goes over several problems to show you how problems should be approached. He uses his own personal knowledge to explain things that the books lacks and it clarifies it. Homework is not graded, grades are based on exams.

attendance is mandatory, he drops you after his limit. 4 exams&a final. I can't even describe how easy the class is. He makes his test extremely simple to where everyone will get. HW is not mandatory. Don't read the old reviews, he himself even admits that he was harder then. He's a hippie and wants his life to be easier by making his life easier.

This prof. is the best! Very funny and helpful guy. Make sure you take notes and do the homework I 100% guarantee you that those exercises will be on the exams. This guy is very lazy so he'll grab the exam questions from the notes and homework. By memorizing the exercises you'll be good
