Here's a story about Rob: I seen him stop mid-walk to say hello to a custodian and ask about their family. He is not only one of the finest scholars on campus, he is truly a nice and friendly human. The intellectual ferment of his classes are unmatched in the History department. However, receiving high marks with him is not a given.

Dr.McCormick is a truly inspiring professor. I only recommend taking his course if you are passionate about history. If you go to class and take notes and are not afriad of an essay you will do just fine. He is clear on what he expects and is very helpful. He always has time for students and as long as you dont slack ou will get a good grade!

Dr. McCormick is an extremely difficult professor. He doesn't value good writing skills in his essays or papers but instead focuses on every historical aspect the student couldn't remember to include. It's impossible to remember EVERYTHING so unless you have a brain the size of martians, don't take his class. Ridiculous!

I absolutely love him as a professor. He is very clear on his expectations and he is a super fun professor. His lectures are interesting and he gets really passionate about anything European. If you want to get him going, tell him the American Enlightenment was real and he'll go on about them stealing from Europe. I LOVE McCormick. Took 2 classes*

One of the best profs I've had. Explians material well and in a way that makes it interesting. It's not like a lecture. It's more like listening to a good friend tell you a story. His exams are a little challenging but he is very helpful and caring. Wish I was a history major.

He is hard as hell!!!! no lie...he teaches like you are in graduate school or somethin...I want to drop so bad but drop date has passed...You can't follow in the book where you are and his essays are 80% of the test! too much reading, uninteresting, and too hard!

Highly recommend! He is a great prof. He is so passionate about history that it is both nerdy and cute at the same time. Took his class during sumemr session and though the topic was a bit dull for my taste, he made it interesting with images of examples of subjects covered. If you have a choice, definitely take Dr. McCormick :)

He is one of the best history professors I have ever had. He makes history practically come to life. His lectures are very interesting; it's like he's sharing a great story with you. The quizes are easy and the tests aren't too bad if you study the topics he gives you ahead of time. I'm planning on taking many more of his classes in the future!

He is one of the best History teachers in the entire History Dept. It's very obvious he loves his subject and his excitment about all things history makes his class a blast to be in. His exams can be tough but if you pay attention in his class, which isn't hard to do, you should be fine.

Wonderful teacher! He makes you want to listen and understand about history. He knows what he is talking about and works with you if u need help. Very understandable about everything and gives wonderful advise. His tests are from the class notes and essays are the most important part.

Very good history teacher. Unbias views on the past. His class is never one you won't to fall asleep in. He is passionate about his job. Tests are easy because all the information sticks from class, process of repeating what you heard.
