I took her RS 175 online course as well. Honestly, she does give out a lot of hw but it wasn't that difficult to do. You are required to read the reading assignments and write at least 2 journal responses each week. The class was not too hard but not too easy. She's also a nice lady, so don't be afraid to ask questions or help.

RS 175 Online. Not sure what everyone is talking about here. I took her online class Fall of 2011.She was awesome and the class is great. All you have to do is read the assignments and write about it. The reading was not alot and somewhat interesting. She is very attentive both to email and posts online. Just do the work and you'll do fine

She is so boring. She has a monotone gram voice, so it just puts you to sleep. She doesn't seem to relate anything in a way that makes sense. I was really disappointed when the class turned out to be a dive, because it sounded very interesting. The weekly posting in Eidos is annoying.

Honestly, a terrible professor. My high school morality teacher was much more intelligent with moral subject matter. Gorman simply recites the works of others and has no opinion of her own. She babbles on for THE WHOLE CLASS, which is incredibly boring. She loves the flowery church language instead of factual data. DONOTTAKE- worst FU Prof.

Gorman is a good prof. Her online course requires a lot of reading and response type work. You will read about 400 pages of work the whole course and write 8-10 different writing assignments (reflection paper, hw question, midterm, final). If you're looking for an easy class, do your work. Otherwise its painful.

absolutely unbearable. class is the most boring hour and fifteen minutes of your life. tons of busy work and you cant get away with skipping any of it. i had 4 absences and she said that i would automatically recieve a C. she's condescending and just plain boring. avoid the class at allll costs. especially for core.

Definitely have to do your reading..and it's a lot! One of my hardest classes because she is really difficult to follow. She never writes out notes - knowledge is based on what she lectures in class. Lots of work but a genuinely kind lady, would never intentionally hurt anyone. However, a pretty tough grader. VERY SPECIFIC.

Lectures are insanely boring but if you're looking for an easy core, take this. Work is a pain, but easy to do. 2 exams, weekly eidos discussion (your answer & respond to someone else), weekly assignment question, have to attend 2 outside lectures & write a response, reflective paper. Some classes are movies/movie discussions. An overall nice lady

Very nice woman however classes are insanely boring, very easy if you can bs, didn't read a single book and got good grade, takes attendance every class graded homework for every class, tests are all essays, long paper due, must attend religion lectures, learned nothing but very easy grade just tell her capitalism is bad and you get an A

This class is not only VERY boring because of all the lecturing for an hour and 15, but it is almost impossible to really excel. As hard as you try, sometimes you just can't win. Someone who read all the information for a test in her class got a much lower grade compared to someone who didnt even open a book. How is that fair?!

This was the most boring class i've ever had to sit through in my life. She literally talks for the entire 75 minutes and takes attendance every single class without fail. Her tests are all essays and a pain to take. If you can help it do NOT take this class

SO boring! i hated this class! she assigns a ton of reading from really boring books. her tests are all essay and are so annoying to take. she took attendance every class and basically just talked at you for an hour and 15 min. torture!

I have to admit this is a pretty boring class. I often find myself trying keep myself awake each 8:00 class. Despite this, Pr. Gorman is a nice woman and the work isn't too bad. Just try to keep up with the reading (mostly autobiographies). Tests are mostly what is covered in classroom discussions.

Dr. Gorman is getting a bad rap on here! She's a fine teacher, a little odd and boring but still a nice woman. The key to her class is READ (or skim, I skimmed most pages) and take very intense notes during class, literaly just write down every word she says and ya get an A! She is a fair grader and does actually read your papers which is nice!

i have never doodled so much in my life as i did in this class. her lectures are very boring and hard to follow. she cannot pronounce anything correctly, and has a wicked lisp.seems very nervous in front of the class, cannot repudiate any b.s. comments said by students who obviously didn't read.tons of reading, movies, and speakers.grades unfairly.

Honestly, this class was more like an English class than anything else. If you enjoy reading on any level, this isn't a bad choice. The tests are short answer essays and we had to write one paper for the entire semester. Just make one or two comments and/or questions per class and she'll love you!
