I dont know what he is like with english, but I had him for creative writing and he was great. He made me think more about my story in ways I had not thought about before. So to call him a knucklehead is unfair I think. Maybe the college made him teach english comp. But I know he had a pasion for teaching creative writing class.

His grading scale was awful, i ended the class with a 91 that should have been an A. Instead a B... He seemed very discouraging to questions, and i do not recommend.

I agree with the previous comments..A comp. is supposed to be invoved with more writing activities, peer reviews, etc to enhance our critical thinking skills. Instead, he gave lots of OBJECTIVE type of tests and quizzes..so,where's the learning?rote memorization?.got no idea how did I get my final which is so unreasonable..don't take him..honestly

Just wasn't very good at teaching. Assignments are pointless and silly, then then you only get a grade back with no idea what's right or wrong. Same thing with papers. I recommend Barney before this knucklehead.
