Extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Cares about her students and wants them to do well. As long as you go to class and do the readings this is an easy A. Follow the rubrics for the essays and study her daily "review" items for the midterm and final and the class will be a breeze. Highly recommend her!!

TAKE KOLODNY. It doesn't matter what the class is. She is the best professor you will have at Temple. No one cares more about your future than she does. Her teaching style is perfected, I don't think it can be improved upon. She's the best, you will learn a lot, and you will truly be prepared for your career.

If I were to teach a college class, I would base it off of how Dr. Kolodny taught American Party System. She's got it down to a science. She's the most helpful and useful professor I've ever had and I can't recommend her highly enough.

Her "American Party System" class was amazing! She explains everything you need to know and she asks great questions designed to gauge your analysis of the readings and of politics in general. I would highly reccomend this professor to anyone who wants a challenging professor in the PoliSci department..she is wonderful!

Welcomes opposing veiws but have your facts together. Learn De'Toqueville book because she is always refering to it. Also keep up on your current events because she always bring that into class. Learn your US Constitution and any Court Decisions. She tries to keep it interesting.

Only 2 papers and 2 tests all semester...I didnt study and i did well but i did do all readings. Some people were very clueless b/c they did not read. At first I thought I would have a problem with her class, because I had no great knowledge of Political Science, but she gives a well broad overview of the political system. And as long as you go to class and pay attention to her notes you should do fine.
