Comment:

I don't like History but this professor actually made me interested! She talked well and understandable while good at explaining everything. Not too much homework, just the occasional 2 page paper and notes on a video. I highly recommend this professor for history. You just need to be in class to take the notes and count towards attendance.

Comment:

By far the best professor I've eve had! She makes learning history easy and fun and I would love to take her again. I had her for western civ I and II and was my favorite class I took. I highly recommend her!

Comment:

I had Professor I for both 1 & 2 Western Civ, and she was fantastic. She copied all her notes on the board and allowed us to write them before she lectured so we could pay attention to her lecture. She told history in story format, and held our interest so well, that for tests I barely needed to study, but rather, truly absorbed them.

Comment:

She gave me a genuine interest in history. Instead of blandly reciting names and numbers, she made every lesson feel like the next chapter of a story, and the margins of my notes are filled with interesting facts. She is also a pretty easy grader, and gives opportunities for extra credit. (hint) Don't bother buying the textbook- tests are on notes!

This is the one class I actually looked forward to attend. Through her sarcastic style she presents history for what it is - one big soap opera. She's very fair with her grading policies. This is a class you'll definitely gain from.

I am about ready to graduate and Prof. Iz is the best professor in my opinion on this campus. She tells a story when she teaches and makes it more interesting. She works you hard and expects a lot, but she is truly awesome!

I had her for 3 classes... by far the best professor at SCCC. Test come straight from class, and she explains everything in a way anyone can learn. She doesn't give any busy work and the papers are interesting. TAKE HER she is the best you'll ever get.

I took Western Civ II with this teacher, and she is simply the most amazing history teacher I've ever had. She's very knowledgeable, and speaks fluently. I've never seen a teacher never use a textbook before and still teach so well. I loved her class so much that I am now taking Western Civ I.

she is AMAZING. what a great teacher. i always hated history but she made this course so great. there's a lot of information, but she puts it in such a context that it's so easy to remember. i learned so much information that i never learned in any class
