One of the best law professors I had. Read the materials, pay attention in class, and recognize that he is teaching law...the old fashioned way... and you will profit from it.

Horrible professor. Disorganized and frequently goes off on tangents that consume the entire class period that don't relate to property. He starts very slowly and then the last 2weeks of class he covers 2 chapters (200 pages). He doesn't recognize that its his below-average teaching ability and incomprehensible exams that are the problem.

Scariest of the Profs. INTIMIDATING. Almost flunked Law school due to his incomprehensible lecture style.Was scared too much to learn from him; once told me "I teach to the top 10% of the class". (and I wasn't) Exams:"use a rifle, not a shotgun" whatever that means. One of the reasons I don't contribute to Creighton.

I understand that we must learn to think for ourselves and teach ourselves, but for Christ's sake... guide us a little. Get the class involved! You preach all day while no one listens. A teacher engages. You Volkmer, try to scare. Being personable would help. Take a hint, from your staff who talk behind your back! I hate you even though I got a B!
