Dr. Hodges was a pretty cool teacher. I came to her class because her lectures were amazing, and her talks about current events and how this applied to the real world classroom really taught me a lot and her classroom overall. Her directions and tests were lacking in direction though, but she was always ready to help via email or class.

I had her for my Social Studies class during TEP. This class was NOT hard. She was the problem. She does not give clear instructions on assignments. The syllabus is a mess. This class was a hot mess. She makes up grades as she goes along and is NOT helpful. I don't know how she's gotten where she is at Athens. TERRIBLE!

THIS WOMAN BY FAR IS THE BEST PERSON TO EVER TEACH ME, SHE IS HARD I CAN GIVE HER THAT BUT SHE BRINGS OUT THE BEST IN HER STUDENTS, SHE DOESN'T ALLOW EXCUSES, JUST GET IT DONE AND COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY THEN YOU WILL SUCCEED IN ANY OF HER CLASSES!

took this class online. It was hard, its out of minimal points and not room for error. Discussion boards were easy, a huge management project that I will never use again. One exam, the final, which is impossible to an A on. She let students correct work for one assignment and not another. Inconsistency! will never take her again.

I had a very good experience with Dr. Hodges. As long as you do your work and communicate with her she is great. I don't think she is too difficult either. She reads your work and expects quality, but she doesn't over do it. I like her and would take her again if I could.

I enjoyed Dr. Hodges. She was extremely helpful when you asked for help and went above and beyond. She is extremely blunt which many people find off putting but I would rather someone tell me!

I thought that she was a pretty awesome teacher. I had her for Teaching Social Studies, Classroom Management, and she was even my internship adviser. I found her to be very blunt and honest in regards to the grades that I received during my internship. With the other two classes, I noticed that she didn't put up with any crappy classwork.

The worst teacher I have ever had. She is one of those people who wants to use her authority to make others suffer, unjustly I might add. She might actually be a little crazy too as nothing she says or does makes ANY sense. I would avoid her if all possible, I was given that advise and I still took a class with her and will ALWAYS regret it!!!

Not a nice teacher whatsoever. She's on a major power-trip and is never wrong. Her directions are often unclear and full of errors even though she claims to be a grammar nazi. Somehow she is still at the school...just try not to sign up for her class.

She's a "got-cha" teacher. Her tests hard with obscure questions. She has her own personal and political agenda to push, and during the 09 summer semester she actually called all of SE Huntsville "snobs" because she claimed those people would not sell their homes to black people. She does not teach the subject content, only how great Obama is.

Yes she is a hard teacher to read but she does not hand feed any of her students. She gives them the tools to complete a job and that is how we should teach our own students. She doesn't enable.....KUDOS to Rosie!
