Comment:

Dr. Hutchinson was the worst prof I've ever had. She added assignments without notice and then chewed me out via email for missing them. Then she scheduled a phone conference with me telling me I needed to get my life together and my priorities straight after I missed a class meeting due to my grandfather's funeral. I would NOT recommend.

This professor is just plain awful. I had this has an online summer course and she piled on the work. Summer classes are busy enough and this class was horrible. Instead of finding the assignments on our BlackBoard, she would email us tons of work to complete with only a couple of days to do them. I would NOT take this professor!

Honestly the worst teacher I have ever had in college. I have taken her multiple times, because I had to. I had been warned about it before from a friend but thought her classes couldn't be that bad. I was wrong. I have taken them online and they are so confusing and unorganized. She also will slip assignments in that are not on the syllabus.

Dr. Hutchinson is quite possibly the most ridiculous excuse for a professor I have ever encountered. She was completely oblivious to anything that the class required, so much so that there was a huge discrepancy over the grades needed to pass the class. She likes to think she knows what she is talking about, but she has no idea.

I know there are a lot of negative reviews about Dr. Hutchinson, but my experience with her was great. She provides authentic assignments and was always willing to help. Her grading is strict and she expects a lot of her students, but she is a great instructor! Would definitely take her again!

Do not take Dr. Hutchinson's class! She is extremely rude via emails. Btw, you better make sure you address her as "Dr. Hutchinson" or she'll be sure to point that out to the whole class. Although she is easy on the grading, her instructions and responses are useless. She'll respond by giving you the run around while putting you down.

Do not take! She is a very difficult teacher. She doesn't answer emails and when she does, she doesn't pay enough attention to even spell your name right! I made straight A's this semester, except for her class. I struggled all semester. She would change dates last minute and not show up to our virtual classroom times!

Worst teacher-DO NOT take!! She tries to be too smart with her assignment directions and they end up making NO sense. If you email her do not hold your breath. If you're lucky she might respond at the end of the semester. Her grading scale makes no sense. She will change due dates and add assignments without any warning.

She is a nice lady, love her as a person. Terrible teacher. She is very unclear, I was confused the entire semester. She will change things last minute. ED 301 has A LOT of information, most of it is busy work. I received an A, but I paid attention and tried very hard. Try to follow the rubric and get on her good side!

Dr. Hutchinson is by far one of the worst professors at this amazing university. Not only was she never prepared for class, but most of her lessons consisted of watching "feel good" movies. Although they were ok movies there are other ways I would like to spend 2 1/2 hours especially since the final consisted of topics were never mentioned.

Horrible teacher! Rarely responded to my emails and when she finally did all she said was "call me!". So rude! Wimba sessions are 2 HOURS long, no joke! Changed the syllabus multiple times!! I couldn't keep track! Not organized! I don't understand her grading at all! DO NOT TAKE HER!!

No help at all, more concerned with her time off. She might call you and scream at you, but that is most you will get out of her. She screans at you. She is unclear and confused about the assignements and can't seem to do anything without the help & ok of the anchor professor. She is one of those who could not make it in the public school systems.
