Do not take. She is a boring museum tour guide that wants her students to work in a museum. If you want to be a tour guide, take this class. Her grading is horrible, even if you remember her slides she'll find ways to make you fail. Horrible class choice.

took women and art with her. She's great. The class itself is great- i recommend that everyone takes it. As far as her teaching goes, she doesn't always have the answer for you but she'll get it and corrects herself on spoken errors. She's funny and very knowledgable. If you pay attention in class, she's not hard. BUT very strange grader.

i love this woman! she realy knows what shes talking about... as long as you have an intrest in art you will love her. if not... dont take the class.... it's not one of those classes that you should take just because you need more credits.

Like another comment said, her passion for art is extremely evident. She actually wants her students to leave the class with a wealth of knowledge. She is extremely clear in what it takes to get a good grade in her class. If she has you memorize 75 slides, it is because she wants you to know them and THAT IS WHY YOU SIGNED UP FOR THE CLASS: TO LEAR

she is a bad grader she allows you to do xtra credit and never really factors it in her grades she is very unclear and assigns to many slides considering she only gives 10 out of the 75 ids on her test she is really not helpful and I would not recommend anyone take her for art history

knos her stuff..but u study so many slides for exams (quiz, midterm and final) but only 10 are on there which was a total waste of time, i spent more time studyin for this than all my other classes...makes u take a trip to the MET museum by yourself (mandatory)and have to do a paper on it...i dont recommend her...=(

she puts a million images to know on the review sheet but you only get tested on ten. If you dont participate, she gets mad. dont take the class in the morning, she shuts the shades and turns out the lights, shell call you out for sleeping.

Wants you to remember every definition and every work of art from the first day. Must partcipate or she holds it against you. Mails letters to your home if u get a low grade on any assignment.Over 200 works of art for the exams and you must remember dates, and there are only 10 on the exams.

Very nice class.....at first I thot it would be a piece of cake, but i read for it just as much as i did Bio!! The prof is Ok....very anal about time though!!! She was very helpful and NOTE..do the extra credit paper....it pushed my grade to an A
