Very easy teacher. Too easy. Class felt like a middle school. The most stuff I learned in there is not from Ruth, its from books, and she behaves with students like we are children, repeating over and over and not really motivating to work harder because she is nice and so willing to help. I was glad to have her, so I didn't had to work as hard

Rainbow Lady. That's what I came to call her. Most notes I ever took in any class I've ever takin'. At all levels she wanted the best from you. W ether class participation, papers or tests. She expected a lot. But she gave so much of herself, you made yourself work that much harder. Intellectually, that woman is a treasure trove of knowledge.

Theres not much more I can say that hasnt been said already! Oh yeah.... I gave a 4 on clarity, because she tends to ramble a lot, but shes aware of it and always pulls back on course within 5 minutes or so.... But the rambling is great too! Hahaha

No matter what your learning style, Ruth is able and willing to work with you. She is passionate about Anthropology, Psychology, and MCAD students. If you are into Freud or Jung, Take Voights. If you are into learning about the things nobody ever talks about...Take "Grandma" Voights again.
