She is really easy! I enjoyed her class. I passed all my assignments with an A but my exams I would get a D. The study guides from the packet are almost exactly like the exam. I feel like I didnt do great on my exams cause I would study the night before the exam. I recieved a B in her class. Just do all your work and get a good grade!

Comment:

Professor Kamiryan is an amazing professor! You must buy a packet for her class which contains all the powerpoints, HW, and study guide questions. HW consist of 3 questions from each chapter, so the book is required. Most of the study questions are on the test! You interact with students after each chapter. Super easy class! Definitely take again.

She's truly inspirational, motivates her class and is someone who demonstrates a passion for teaching. There are many ice breaker's, in class participation points and participate. When you demonstrate you're interested, she really get's into it. Get ready to laugh, but complete all assignments. You are given a study guide for each test.

Professor Karmiryan is amazing. Took 8 week 8-2:30 course and dreaded it. She made it fun and fly by. There is a lot of reading required for the class but the homework is simple. She is willing to help always. Didn't need to buy the textbook I was able to download it for free online. Workbook is required but also inexpensive. I recommend her

Amazing Professor! Her love of Sociology (people) is communicated in every class. I took her class during intersession. Three hour classes four times a week for four weeks. Sounds intense, but her non-traditional way of teaching made every day different and very interesting. She enjoys class participation and encourages sharing and input. Wow

I personally loved this professor! I took her Soc class during intersession and it flew by. She's a very interactive teacher which makes the class feel less burdensome. Attendance counts a lot since you'll lose attendance points and participation points but otherwise it's a simple and informative class!

She genuinely loves teaching and loves her students and that really shows on a daily basis. Her teaching method is different from most in that the class is heavily involved in each lesson with reading, skits, and video clips. Her study guide packet is key for success on tests. HW for every chapter. Points for daily participation. I'd take her again

Mrs. Karmiryan is a sweet lady. Her accent is a little heavy but for the most part you can understand her lectures. She doesn't give much homework other than reading the chapter and answering an evaluation. If you read the chapter, you will pass the class. It's that simple! I seen so many people take advantage of her like being on their cell phones

I would definitely take again. She was so sweet!!! shes very understanding. It was sad to watch students take advantage of her a lot- skip class, show up hours late, or flake out during breaks. Our class was 6 hours long on Saturday, but she tried her best to make it worthwhile. Don't be that kid. Not with her at least.

Mrs Karmiryan is a good professor. She does talk alot and alittle tough at grading somethings but other than that the class was fun. Took sociology with mr burtlag (which is an HORRIBLE teacher to take) and with her i passed, study the questions and study guide and you'll pass tests and final. Easy class.

This professor is very unclear and to make things worse she takes points away when she did not even tell us how to do her papers. Yes the class is easy and she is nice but her study guides are not good she is unorganized and very unclear!! She contradicts herself a lot.

Ruzanna is a very nice professor and believes in group work which is good. Her tests are okay but her study guides do not help at all. she goes off of a point system and if your absent alot you probably wont pass i would of had a A but since i missed alot i got a C.

A very good professor. Attendance is MANDATORY, if you want an A in her class you better make sure you make it to all her classes. 4 exams which are all 50 multiple questions. All you need is to look over her the study guides which come in a course packet which you must buy($10.00). Overall great teacher and easy A.

I love her class; great professor. All you need to do is study the course pack and you will pass the exams (there's only 4), there's going to be one group presentation, and a lot of discussions. I learned A LOT from this class and I'm sure you will too!

This woman is so sweet!She cares about her students.She makes the class very interesting.Enjoyed her class.It's fun and keeps you interested.Lots of group work,discussions, one group presentation 4 tests very easy just study study the handouts.the course packet.You don't use the book at all.Just for your presentation so just make copies. Got a B+!
