I really enjoyed myself. Its a pretty easy class. Three essay papers. Final is open text and very easy. I really like her and hope to take another class with her. If you don't like to read don't take the class though.

I loved this class! I hated english in high school but Professor Sneeringer made the class interesting and fun. Only grades consist of 3 papers, a short speech on a short story and a final paper, which is just a revision of a previous essay. Definitely take her, it will be your favorite class to wake up and go to!!

She is a really nice lady. There are 3 papers and they are just analyzing different short stories talked about in class. She does give a lot of little assignments but its nothing hard at all. The final is a revision of a prior essay, its not bad at all.

Ok the last comment left was so stupid. She is a really nice teacher who is very willing to help. For the basic english class it can be difficult. There are 3 papers, one short talk (7-10mins)/paper (summary), and the final is a revision of one of your paper. each worth 20% of grade. I got an A and didn't try. Not that much reading..10 pgs per week

She is nice enough, but a but of a quack. Expect to do a lot of useless reading for the class. There are 3 papers, 1 redo, and a presentation/paper. Its relatively easy but what she asks you to do is ridiculous. She is a bit of an artsy quack in an annoying way. Nice enough but annoying.

I took "Writing for a Liberal Education" with her. So, there was a lot of writing (3 5-7 page essays, a 10 page revision of one of the essays, and misc. writing assignments). Overall, she is very nice, she is a good teacher, and she is very passionate about what she does. There are two textbooks: ISBN# 0-072-37064-5 and ISBN# 0-321-45742-0.

She is really nice and friendly, and extremely helpful. Class is actually really demanding though... TONS of reading, 4 5pg. MINIMUM essays, 500+ word writing workshops every week, plus the final. Classes are interesting and she pushes you to think outside the box.

almost impossible to get an A in this class unless you're really great at abstract/creative writing. if you're an analytical writer, it's difficult to think differently. 500 word essays due every friday, and peer reviews. also 4 essays and a final. great if you love writing anything you want. if not, don't take.

I actually Learned something in this class. Show up to class an participate. Had to do 3 essays and an essay for a final. Reading responses were kinda annoying but you can BS a lot of them and still do ok. Awesome TEacher, taking her again i would definitly reccommend her!

One of my best teachers. She lets you know exactly what she wants, there are 4 papers, and no final exam, just a final essay. Our first 2 essays she let us revise them, i went from a c+ on one paper to an A- just by revising it. shes agreeable and helpful. i recommend her. TAKE HER.
