Dr. Scott's Archaeology class was my favourite! He's a fairly hard marker so my grades were iffy at the beginning but once you start asking him for help on papers you get an idea of what he's looking for. The class was interesting and he chose really great field studies. I walked away really knowing the subject, he clearly loves to teach it!

Scott is an excellent professor, passionate about his work and dedicated to his students. You get what you give- he expects you to work hard and if you do he will help you succeed. Engaging seminars relied heavily on primary source reading, field studies were exceptional. Volunteer to archive and attend his archaeology digs!

Honestly, I thought he was a pretty unfair prof because she favoured some students constantly. He's also quite arrogant and treats a lot of his first year students like idiot. On the plus side, the field studies were fun.

Initially took HIST125 for the field studies, not having any interest in the subject - but Dr. Scott not only planned amazing field studies, but also made me totally fall in love with history! A must-take at the castle!! Always available, extremely helpful and friendly, goes beyond the classroom to help his students, even pre-reads your essays!

Very friendly professor. More importantly though he really knows his stuff cold. This is a really good example of getting what you give. If you actually pay attention you will learn, so if you don't get anything out of his class it's your own fault. Highly reccomend his class as well as talking to him outside of class. Interesting guy.

Scott is an amazing prof. He takes the time to know each student personally, and enjoys talking outside of class. He is always willing to write a strong recomendation, and his interest in the course is addictive. Gives A's a bit easily, which is not a problem for most. Nickname: Scotty-too-Hottie.

Desperately wants his students to think he's cool and not 50 years old. You don't have to do any work for this class and we didn't even have an exam. Drink with him in the pub and you're set.

I didn't find him helpful/a good prof at all. He was arrogant and tried way too hard to be friends with the students. And it creeped me out how he walked through our hall all the time in Bader.

Amazing guy. A good Prof, but a much better friend if you get to know him. Pubing in Hertsmonseux was great. Touring Normandy, will never foget it. Just a good guy.
