Prof. Peck is my all-time favorite professor. I went on to St. Rose to become a history teacher and also received my master's degree from SUNY Albany, I must say that Jeff was the best teacher I had throughout my six years of schooling. I am lucky that I can now share the knowledge he gave me with the students I am teaching. Good Luck in retirement

Jeff Peck is the best professor I've ever had. He is extremely intelligent, passionate about the subject, and has lots of interesting stories about virtually every topic. His lectures are very interesting. He is one of the funniest people I've ever met, in a dry sort of way (which just makes him even funnier). Read the material and you'll do well.

I dont remember any papers in his class. We had to do these things on the computer that had a question that you had to write an answer too but it wasnt like a formal paper or anything. His class was easy. Boring as hell but im not into political science which is probably why.

I'm a senior at SUNY Albany. Jeff Peck is still the best teacher I have ever had the pleasure of taking a class with. Knowledgable, approachable, accessible, caring, and enthusiastic. Not to mention, hilarious. Great professor.

Excellent course! Prof. Peck is compassionate and exceptionally fair - one of the brightest academicians in the country! (PS If credentials are important to you, while he does not hold a PhD, he is ABD in Political Science, and holds three postgraduate degrees; thus, has experienced more formal education than 2 PhDs; and he can actually teach!)

Peck is a nice guy. He tries to keep his lectures interesting. All of his tests are multiple choice. He's a little for to the left for me, but keep an open mind because he is critical of both sides of the aisle. His tests are 75% from the book and 25% from his lectures so make sure you read the text. If you don't, you'll fail the tests. :-)

Jeff is an amazing teacher. His classes are interesting, you can tell he really loves his subject. He doesn't typically teach history, but I managed to get one with him, and learned a lot. He doesn't put up with BS, and is very fair but strict. Go to class, do the reading, and you are ok

Very fair, you take your final twice, once alone, once as a group. all multiple choice, no essay tests. Make sure you go to class though, he is a bear about attendence

he's awesome...if you have a good memory you don't really need to take notes. Its really necessary to do the reading or you'll bomb the tests. he's a really funny guy and really makes a boring subject interesting.

Professor Peck is quite honestly one of the best ACC professors. Why a man as smart as him is stuck teaching at a community college when he could just as easily teach at a four year school is beyond me. He's funny, insightful, and keeps his classes interesting by injecting a lot of his personal stories into them. Great teacher.

One of the best teachers at the college. Knowledge is vast, and he's got quite the wit to him. If you do your work, and don't miss more than a class or two. The only way the tests would be easier is if he gave the answers ahead of time. Great teacher.
