Comment:

Dr. Williamson talks about his past a lot. He will go on and on for the whole class period and still test you on Friday. His teaching is confusing and his tests are long and hard. In his mind he is never wrong so dont second guess him. And dont ask for help.

Dr. Williamson is one of the worst teachers i have ever taken. There is a test every friday. Our class average on every test was an F. Dont go to his office for help because he will not help you. Half the stuff on the test he does not talk about in class. I highly recomend taking the other professors nutirion class!

His class is NOT HARD. Many people say he's hard, which I personally dont think it is. I didnt enjoy his class simply because I dont like his way of teaching. He is very specific with answers on his mini quests and wants everything spelled correctly. But if you actually study you will do just fine.

Doc is definitely an old school professor. There are quizzes almost every week and they are cumulative. HARD CLASS. There is a lot of information you have to remember. He expects you to remember things word by word. He does not post notes at all so get ready to be in class every day!

Doc is an amazing professor! Pay attention and take good notes--especially anything he emphasizes. Study your notes plus any handouts given. Total of 10 mini-quests made up of True/False & short answer questions. His class is challenging but not nearly as impossible as other reviews make it seem. I took ASCI 101 & 135 and received A's in both.

Lecture dependent classes and notes taken on an overhead. Quizzes every week which can hurt your grade and attendance is mandatory. If you are late to class, it's minus 5 points, but if you're absent, it's minus 1. Does not allow computers in class. Anything that's said in class could appear on a quiz. Even if said during an off topic rant.

Knowledgeable guy, but likes to hear himself talk. Lectures contain rants that will be on quizzes. No textbooks so it's a lecture dependent class. Also brings in every paper you'll need. Teaching is hard to follow. Still uses an overhead. Quizzes given every week, but gives study guides. Overall, OKAY but not worth it. I won't be taking him again

He is a good teacher but his test are pretty tough. However if you attend class and lab as well as study the material that is given there should be no reason you can't pass his class. He is a very knowledgeable professor. Offers very few extra credit opportunities. His class is easy as long as you put for the effort.

He is a great teacher but his tests are extremely tough. You must study in order to pass and his grading scale is a little funny. I learned a lot from him but you defiantly need to study in order to pass!

Recommend to study, especially if you're bad at memorization. You'll have to do some projects. Weekly mini quests (quizzes). They can easily hurt your grade, especially because they are worth more points each week. Big final, can make or break you if you are at the borderline. His grading scale is a bit skewed so watch out for that.

I am taking him for 101 and 125 right now, will probably get an A or B in both. group projects in both. Teaches both very similar. Go to class, you get attendance points and there's no way to make up if you don't get the notes somehow. Memorize them! Tough comprehensive quizzes every week. Good teacher but anything in your notes can be on quiz!!

He knows his stuff. He is highly annoying and likes to hear himself talk. He uses an overhead so his notes are sort of hard to read. His tests are kind of difficult and very confusing. You can't avoid taking him so I suggest finding old tests of his to use for studying. He is a horrible teacher

Took him for Feeds in Feeding, just basically memorize his notes from overhead. You will learn alot though. the miniquest are a pain in the , but you'll learn alot.

he is the worst teacher! He doesnt teach you anything he just reads off the notes and if you want to do good on his test you literally have to memorize every word from his notes. you have to sign in every day and you get points for attendance. hes always right so you cant question him or else he'll get offensive.

Doc knows a lot and likes to show you how much he knows. Uses big words on the test to make questions more confusing. He likes to hear himself talk. Word of advice never question his teaching or the material. Even if you are right and he is wrong he will never admit it so don't argue with him. Also don't cross him or your grade WILL suffer.

Doc is awesome! Definitely one of my favorite teachers, even though he really challenged me and I really had to work hard for my A. Had him for 3 classes: Feeds/Feeding, Genetics, and Env't.

Comment:

Williamson is a great teacher; and he really knows his stuff so you can't BS him. In my class he didn't use a textbook so his tests are from notes and the handouts that he gives you. If you study hard and know your notes by heart you will be fine. Go to class since you get credit. Make sure that you type the lab reports, you get extra credit.
