Sharron was A) she was my clinical instructor and B) she was also teaching another one of my theory classes. First off, she was a great instructor in clinical at first but word of advice when you make a mistake DO NOT TELL HER, I repeat do not tell her. B) study hard for her class, she does not have ppts.

Comment:

Lectures are structured in the DMF/nursing care plan format. She explains things well, answers questions clearly. Her voice can be monotone and sleep-inducing but if you organize her lecture into a clear DMF study guide for yourself, it should be an easy class despite the heavy lecture material. PS-She does NOT use ppt so get ready to write.

Sharon is a great instructor for clinical practice in term 3. I had her at SMH and I had the best experience. She is a great teacher and is extremely hands on. She is very helpful and gives a lot of important knowledge that is relevant to nursing. She constantly applying theory to practice. I would highly recommend her as a clinical instructor.

Sharon is definitely a complete sweetheart and very approachable, but I feel as though I don't get much out of her lectures. Her notes are too disorganized and she tends to deviate from the main topic quite a bit. If messiness drives you nuts, avoid her.

Sharon is a sweet lady but it can be hard to concentrate in her class. She can be a bit disorganized and doesn't always answer questions that deviate from the set material for the lecture.

Sweet woman, but I just can not stay awake in her class. Her notes can be quite messy, which drives me nuts. Although it is pretty useful when learning about nursing diagnoses and interventions. The midterm was hard, and long - I actually got sleepy during the test. Final was fine.

I come we'll prepared to clinical and I never had a problem with her and found her very easy in clinical. She was really helpful with questions and did not make me feel stupid when I made mistakes. When you get your Monday night homework make sure you know the policies she teach in class and apply it to your patient. Overall great teacher.

nice prof, exams based entirely on class note, so dont bother reading txtbk at all. for clinical, dmf has to b super specific to connect everything as big picture. if you have trouble, finish ahead, ask her to review it during spare clinical hours before u submit them cus u dont want to fail too much dmf or she will fail u.

She's very nice but not helpful. Exams are pretty hard (not that that's a bad thing), but she does not scale marks or even look over exams to see which questions most people got wrong. Her lectures are scattered, so be prepared to write a lot..all over the place!

Sharon is really great. She has an awesome personality, and lots of life experience! She makes you hand write med cards in clinical, which can be quite the chore, but she was one of the greatest clinical instructors in term 3, & one of my favorite teachers in the program. She pushes you in the GOOD WAY. Be prepared to work hard, but to learn LOTS!

She speaks in a montone voice; however,the way she explains something it's hard for you to forget. She'll emphasize the important points for you to remember and she teaches very well. Class can be boring but the material is very important and she does a good job in teaching that to us.

Sharon...Sharon ... what to say... I think a rock has more personality than her. The material she teaches is acutally quite important but you have to have major self control to attend classes. She also seems to have lost all sense of reality. She doesn't seem to realize the population of the class never raises over 10... assesment of her teaching?
