Comment:

Prof. Horowitz is awesome. Hes the classic tough guy outside but really nice on the inside (hes old school). He gives everyone who didnt get an A a second chance on all their speeches and gives an example of one before assigning them. He gives attendance but you are allowed up to like 4-5 absences and can still reach an A. Makes you laugh a lot too

Horowitz is the easiest speech professor All you have to do is deliver the speech No need to hand it in or anything A friend got all of his speeches from online and got an A He also gives two attempts per speech other than the final which is six minutes of which ever type of speech you want For the final,you either get an A or A- so just take him

This man is soooooooo old and very back dated, always putting down our generation saying that old ideas are better than new ones. He will also try to put words in your mouth: if you do a speech and he doesn't like it, he will give a speech on the same topic and will expect you to repeat his ideas. If you suck up to him, he'll give you an A.

Excellent professor. Allows 4 absences without a penalty. He assigns six speeches and gives his own model speech before starting each unit. As long as you stay on topic and meet the time limit, you will get an A on each one. Final is a 6 minute speech on any topic of your choice. Very understanding and willing to work with you. Allows redos!

By far the easiest class ive taken so far. As long as you are clear, stay on topic and meet the time limit, its an easy A. 6 speeches in total all of them he does a model beforehand to show you how they should be said. Super nice guy I highly recommend taking his class you wont regret it.

Makes you read old books in front of the class. His guidelines aren't super clear but he gives you multiple chances to do speeches so no reason why you should fail. He tried to make me re-do the one of my speeches but im a strong speaker and he gave me an A. in total there 6 speeches. Take Him! Lets you leave class if your sick. Tells good stories.

I was so upset when i found out i needed to take a speech class. But this teacher made me feel like i could give a speech to the UN.. He's definitely different, but a great story teller. He gave you the freedom to be absent up to six times. Don't expect to email him about anything, he doesn't understand computers.

Really nice guy, easy class. just spend like 20 minutes to formulate a speech and you'll be good. Just make sure that you dont miss class too many times. I had an A until i had to drop the class a week before finals bc i had too many absences

Best professor ever! He is very understanding and really funny. He doesn't know anything about technology which makes it hilarious. His speeches are easy. You can think of a speech topic on the spot and literally just ramble on about it for however long. Very easy class but you have to be prepared.

best professor ever! his class is mad easy he lets you re do the speeches like 5 times so its hard to get bad grades. his sample speeches are hilarious because hes so old school. i still see him on campus and talk to him when i do he loves teaching and loves to see his students do well.

Can be nice, but doesnt explain how to do the speech. Almost made a girl cry at the beginning of the year. Can be very very mean. I never got in trouble with him, but messed up once and he called me a disgrace. Has no criteria on how he grades, just gives you whatever grade he feels like giving you. Can make it up on the spot and still get an A.

The sweetest man EVER! He's really sincere. He lets you do your speech twice, so if you did bad the 1st time you can get a higher grade. he will also let you do speeches in the conference room. take him!!!

This class is extremely easy. People get really offended sometimes because of his feedback, but ignore it because he dosen't really mean it. I highly reccomend this class, I definitely think he's a sweet old man. He makes you do the speech till you get an A. If you want an easy A, take this class.

probably one of the best professors in SJU. All you have to do is make speeches, and you really learn. He lets you redo your speeches until you get an A. He really cares about his students, and I learned SOO much about life in this class. hahah, if your takign speech TAKE HIM ! attendance is not mandatory either ! VERY VERY NICE GUY !!!
