Professor Taylor definitely works by tough love. She knows everything you could want to know about graphics, and really pushes you to perfection on each of the projects. As someone who isn't going into a creative field I found this course a bit difficult from what she expects, but as a professor she was always there and made lectures fun!

Sherri Taylor is one of, if not the absolute best professors. Visit her during office hours and you'll learn a ton on top of everything she teaches during class. She will always let you know what she thinks of your design, without holding back. But most importantly she just the absolute coolest.

By far the best professor Newhouse has! She expects a lot from her students but clearly states everything she wants from you in the syllabus and goes through everything in class. Highly recommend going to office hours.

Sherri Taylor is amazing. She is a fairly hard grader and she does have a habit of playing favorites. Get on her good side early and you'll do fine in the class. Usually whatever grade you get on the first project is what you'll get on the rest. She's a very consistent grader.

Sherri Taylor is good if you are a graphics student. I spend more time in the lab doing stuff for her class then any other class and am only getting a B-. I work my butt off in any other class, I get an A, B at minimum. Taylor is a good person, but has made me realize that Graphics and I don't mesh.

I have been working my ass off all semester, going to office hours for help. She said my resume was "one of the strongest ones in the class" and then gave me a B+. My logo was "overused and outdated" and she hated my poster that the T.A. absolutely loved. Doesn't even recognize her subjectivity and harshness.

Really good teacher. I'm a photo major and she knows everyone, she's introduced me to many a good future employers and I've only known her for a semester. She def knows her**** and is always helpful and easily accessible when you need her. By far one of my favorite teachers I've ever encountered in my lifetime.

SHERRI RULES! She was far and away my favorite teacher while I was at Syracuse for MPJ. She is highly knowledgeable and a great, very organized teacher. I love this woman. All you haters should just SHUT UP! Ethan Rocke sends.

She is a horrible teacher and I can't stand her. She is an unfair grader and has ridiculous expectations. She actually kept one of my projects to show future classes because she "loved" it so much, yet she still sees it fit to give me an A- on the project rather than an A. I don't know what this woman wants, she is beyond trying to please.
