She is a wonderful person! If you show interest in the class than you will succeed in her class. If you raise your hand and speak in class you will also do well! I had her two semesters in a row and I was so sad to not have her as my prof. this past semester.

I come to class everyday wanting to throw a book at Shirley Wells. She is rude, annoying and ancient. She picks favorites and you probably won't be one of her favorites if you have a vag.

Hypocritical, tells you to avoid assuming things about your students, yet she assumes things about you. Good at the "do as I say, not as I do" method. Only happy if you teacher in her image.

She takes psychology classes and makes a point to analyze everything people say and do according to her classes as opposed to concentrating on teaching future teachers. In other words the goal of teaching the class is studying ways to better her own career as a psychologist as opposed to preparing future teachers for their career. WTF - dry class

She is the kind of teacher who gets under your skin b/c of how she views the world but if you can get past that and the chaos that is her "organization" she's great. I actually enjoyed her class even though I thought I would hate it! She's super nice and very helpful! Highly Recommended!

Love her!!! It is alot of work but It is really worth it! I have not enjoyed many edu classes in my blocks but hers was by far one of the best!!! Take this class if you want to learn!!

She is a very fair and kind woman. The amount of work is not overberring but you need to stay on top of it. She is a fair grader and knows what she is talking about. She likes people who are opinionated, and makes you feel comfortable when you speek. I recommned her as a teacher.

AWESOME! Wells is a great prof for special ed. She has a lot of experience and uses examples so that everyone can understand what she is talking about. She is very helpful in and out of class, very fair. Her testing is easy - only 1 real quiz. She is great prof. and I would definitely reccommend her to anyone!

Mrs. Wells is a great professor. However, she is pretty set on her ways so be prepared. Her work is not that bad if you stay on top of things and she will clarify everything she wants from you b/c it will be overwhelming at first. Stick with it and it pays off in the end. You will learn a lot from her and she is a sweet lady! Disorganized sometimes

Wonderful Professor-she will make you work hard and if you are lazy or narrow minded watch out because she will put you in your place. Prof. Wells loves what she does and wants to see all her students succeed however this class is not a giveaway-come prepared to learn!

She was such a sweet person but kind of boring. She has teachers pets & if ur a male, u have a better chance of being 1. Dont expect to ever get the grades that her pets do, no matter how hard u work. Go to her office outside of class 4 browny points

This professor may be a little disorganized but she gets things cleared up and she is very easy going about work, as long as everything is in to her by the end of the sememster you are almost garanteed a B. She has wonderful speakers come into class so we can get the feel of having or dealing with disabilites. This class was interesting and easy.

VERY DISORGANIZED. Plays favorites. Is not very helpful at all. Always says she is available to help, but she is very vauge. Not really open to new ideas. She is very set in how she wants things. So any new creative ideas, throw them out the door.

AWESOME LADY. love her. not disorganized, just unsure sometimes... fly by the seat of your pants sometimes. no worries. she is wicked smart and loves what she does. i choose her b/c of the fun projects. not ALL papers and tests (which are easy too)

Nice lady and knowledgable...but she does choose favorites and is HIGHLY unorganized, so that you do not understand what is going on or what is expected of you most of the time... due to this you have about 5 assingments going for her at once (2 of those are group projects)=makes class hard.

She inspired me to continue my education and go into Special Education. She is VERY knowledgable and always willing to help. She can be disorganized, but if you can get past that, she can be very inspiring. I know I will succeed because of her!

Prof. Wells can be very disorganized, however, she does want her students to succeed. When I was having difficulty with some of my papers, she met with me in Syracuse and helped me correct them and gave me full credit for them as well.
