His lectures has nothing to do with the textbook. The best part of this class is taking the online chapter tests. You can find it online. If you do all of them you can fail the final and still pass the class. Hes boring so good luck

This man has 50 years of experience in psychology, It was a privilege to have him as a professor. Do your open book, untimed, multiple attempt online chapter tests on time and start out with an A. Print out the power points, take good notes and pay attention during lectures and you will do well on the in-class exams. Follow his rules and get an A.

Very nice but don't expect to get an easy A. He offers you up to 10 extra credit points on your average and trust me you're going to need every point of it. He assigns alot of quizzes online that are 40% of your grade. If you get less then a 90 on one he takes off points. The other 60% is tests and they require alot of studying and good notes.

He talks all class long mostly on things that aren't even on the online tests. Even though you can take the tests multiple times if you don't get a 90 you get a -100. I got an A through out the whole class and did poorly on one test and wound up with a C+. His grading is ridiculous. If you do the work required look into a different professor

Took abnormal psych - You can get 100 on every single online test, but if you get less than a 90, you receive a -100. (YES NEGATIVE) and you end up failing the class. DO NOT TAKE!

I had the pleasure of taking this professor over the summer. He had very stict rules when it comes to class room behavior. He has online web quizes which are very time consuming! So be prepared to do those. He does offer extra credit, but at the same time you have to earn your grade big time!! don't slack off!!

This might as well be an online class. If you have any other responsibilities including work or other classes this class asks for a lot. All the work is done at home. You pretty much teach yourselves. During lectures he rambles about stuff you don't need to pass.

A lot of online tests but you're given the opportunity to take them until you get 100. Rambles a lot during lecture so pay attention to the quizzes given online. Textbook isn't necessary. Very understanding but makes you WORK for your grade. You'll need a lot of patience to make it through lectures but it's worth it! Overall a nice genuine prof.

Absolutely do NOT take this guys class. Sorry shoe box Cohen but not a very good professor. Learned very little, and being in this class was torture. Plus, the online homework's are very tedious and make you want to go crazy. I passed with a B+ but to much tedious work for this class. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. Sorry!!!!!

If you're someone who has a job and other responsibilities, you will suffer. This class is basically an online class almost everything is computer based. Also those online test are RIDICULOUS!! One online test every week that you must get a 90 or better on, and if you don't, a -100 gets averaged into your grade. He sits at his desk and lectures all of class about things that have nothing to do with the tests, so you'll have to find a way to teach yourself everything. Seems to talk down to students.. Take course with a diff prof if you can

I took physiological psychology over the summer with Mr. Cohen. It was a blackboard class so it was partially online and partially in class. If you do all the work you will get a good grade. It appears hard at first but you will learn a lot and do better than you imagined. Just do the work and learn - Cohen won't let you down. The was great!!!

the class can be interesting at times, but for the most part you just sit and listen to him talk for a while. you can retake the online tests as many times to get a 90 which is helpful. but the tests that are online are really hard... tough stuff if you're not a psych major

Like others said, time consuming online tests that you MUST get 90 or above on or you receive a NEGATIVE 100. These test aren't easy either although they are only 20 questions. Lecture is extremely boring, you don't learn anything pertaining to what you are reading from your textbook. Would definitely suggest taking this class with another teacher.
