He's quite abrupt (some might even say brash), speaks *unbelievably* loudly, and one gets the sense he enjoys a certain fan club among his students. But I will say this: whatever it is he's teaching, he knows thoroughly and if you show up and do the readings, you can't help but learn something.

Pitel is an awesome, jovial prof. You always get the sense that he's getting a kick out of watching you struggle stupidly through a question, but he's nice about it, so it's oddly okay. He forces students to learn a lot, which is sometimes painful, but, much like frightening major surgery, you'll reap the benefits afterwards.

This guy knows a lot of stuff but I expect more from a prof. What a waste to attend classes to learn what you could easily teach yourself. There are so many philosophical questions lurking all around but they seem to be too deep for this guy - it's all ABC123

Probably the smartest person I met at law school. He is for sure the most demanding too. I learnt a hell of a lot from him. The only complaint is that he speaks too quickly.

Pitel is a great Prof. He knows his schye! He is the smartest Prof I have ever had. The problem is that he goes so quickly, that if you sneeze, you've just missed two important cases.
