All this professor does is lecture. And it's not even about economics. Most of the time he tries to make jokes and his wife and dating and such. I have learned absolutely nothing from him. He made us to a presentation that he didn't even end up grading us on, just so he didn't have to come to class for 4 weeks. Absolute worst teacher I've ever had.

I do not mind to read the chapter and do the homework that he assigns, the problem that I have with this class is that during the lectures he only outlines the chapters that I already read but does not go over examples, or how to solve the math problems of the study guide for the test. So, what is the point to go to his lecture??

I'm not sure how this man still has a job. Worst Professor I ever had. Don't try to go to his office for help, he will make you feel stupid if you don't understand. His tests have nothing to do with his lecture. Had to take all tests in testing center because a student complained about him not helping his students. Testing Anxiety? Good luck.

Terrible instructor! Retaliates against his students when he gets a bad report from the higher ups. Only 4 test that don't have anything to do with lecture. Nobody else at AC teaches this class this semester. Wait to take a different instructor at another College.

I took this class in person because I thought he would be good at explaining. Ha! All he does is outline the chapter and say read them, then take 4 exams for your whole grade. Not really much of a teacher. Nice man though.

It is totally acceptable to require use of the textbook outside of class, but Steven Beckham does not teach economics. There is absolutely no instruction from him on concepts that may be incredibly difficult to understand. If he is your only option, do not waste the hour in class, just take it online. Worst professor I have ever had.

Did not enjoy this class at all. All the tests and quizzes were online from the books website. He just let the book do the teaching. After the final I had a 89.45. I emailed him and explained why I deserved an A (I would have had a 4 point that semester). He gave me a B and on top of that he didn't even respond to my email. Take Robertson!

There is essentially no point of attending his lectures, although he makes it mandatory to achieve a good grade. In class he rambles on about topics that are oftentimes irrelevant to Economics at all and wastes everyone's time present. All the tests, quizzes, and homework were online. He seemed to have forgotten the concepts he was trying to teach.

He fails to cover the material, and instead goes on biased tirades. His lectures are skewed by his lousy perspective, and his tests reflect the same bias with leading questions with subjective answers. Be prepared to be penalized for not sharing his values.
