Comment:
I'd never taken a philosophy class before, and so I was quite nervous starting in his class, but he made it quite entertaining and simple. Just take good notes, and do the readings, and you'll do great. And the class becomes much more interesting if you participate. He uses the socratic method, which I enjoyed. I like to talk and express my ideas.

Super awesome guy. I approached his class with a less than enthusiastic attitude because it was philosophy related. I was never really interested in philosophy, but this class has really garnered my attention on the subject. He makesclass super interesting, and the Socratic seminar format is really insightful and encourages participation. Take him!

By far my favorite Philosophy professor. Readings aren't necessary because he has handouts every class on what he believes to be important from the readings. Tests are simple.

Very helpful in office hours about any difficult subjects from class. Tests are fair and the final essay is definetely fair (you can start your final after the first class if you want)

Prof is really nice and helpful, but his class is largely run by student presentations. Go to class and do some of the readings, and an A is a sure thing!

Nice, likes to stimulate discussion in class, you dont have to work to hard, just know sort of what you are talking about and don't be afraid to defend a viewpoint. Easygoing with the grades.

This guy is cool and easy-going. He forgives our stupidity and laziness. You have to do some reading though to get anything out of his class. If you come in without having read it's hard to get much from it--which is to be expected, I guess.

Luper's classes are definitely what you make them. Gives handouts with synopsis of material every class, easy to understand. Forgiving of embarssingly little effort, appriciative of greater effort. He's as interesting as the topic is to you.

Besides the fact that ethics is like chewing paper, he did nothing to enliven the class. Also, I was under the impression that he was the one getting paid to teach, so why have students the half of the class EVERYDAY!?? So boring!

EASY common curric. I never went to class; all you have to do is show up for tests and the one oral presentation you have (which involves 3 minutes of b.s. about some topic or another.)

My favorite professor at Trinity. Most people that took him for more than one class seemed to like him. Don't base your opinion solely on Ethics. Write the paper at the end if you want an A. Teaches some interetsing topics. You don't have to read.

Although he is rather boring, he completely makes up for it in grading! His tests are basically write your own opinion and defend it and get an A. you might look over the questions he provides you w/ as you walk into the room, and that's max study time.
