Dr. Venit continues to be a fantastic instructor. Very kind, helpful and approachable. He makes quite a few welcomed jokes as well that really lighten the mood while in class. Because vector analysis could be a very dense topic at times, he granted us cheat sheets for exams as well as the final. I learned a lot with Dr. Venit.

Comment:

He was sometimes clear on the subject, he confused me at time but I really likes this professor if I needed help he will help you in office hour or if you ask questions in class. Tests and Midterms are similar to homework but a bit tricky, as long as you pay attention and do his work you will pass the course, I recommend him for this course anyday!!

Hands down one of the best math instructors at CSULA. Explains the material beautifully, incredibly helpful and has a great sense of humor. The course can still be difficult, but he makes it worth the while.

He is truly fantastic. Math teaching could not be any more clear. Not a lot of homework, but don't stay behind and you'll do well. He is very fair; what you learn in class will be on the test. No surprises. I wish he was my full time math teacher.

Arguably among the best math professors at CSULA. Nothing is required in his class (except three midterms the top two of which count 50% and a final 50%), but doing the homework is recommended. Teaches a very clear lecture and has easy & straightforward tests (no notes except for the final). Highly recommended!

One of the best math teachers that I've had so far... and I'm a math major. He's very clear and helpful. The tests are based on his lectures. so go to class and take notes. And, just like in any math class, PRACTICE!

Mr. Venit is awesome. His lectures are clear and appropriately-paced. His tests and homework assignments are reasonable. He doesn't go out of his way to make things more complicated than they need to be. And he's a really funny guy! Beware: he doesn't have a lot of patience for excessive stupid questions or for being interrupted when he's speaking.

Very good professor. He uses pure reasoning and common sense to teach you the subject, and he's really good at it! 3 midterms and 1 final, drops 1 of the midterms. You only need GOOD COMMON SENSE. Ensures that you know previous topics before continuing with the new topic. But DO NOT ARRIVE LATE to every class, as he treats it as a BIG disrespect.

His class is such a great experience. He is an awesome professor, extremely clear, has a good sense of humor, and is very nice. His exams are based mostly on what he teaches you during lecture-which are always engaging and interesting. He wants his students to succeed and is very helpful during office hours. Highly reccommended.

awesome, awesome, awesome teacher! super clear, super helpful, and super exams! out of 3 midterms, he drops one and includes a final. the problems he asks aren't at all difficult. after the first test, it's easy to figure out his style. =P if u suck at math like i do, take him!! do the hw, they're like the exams*
