Comment:

Dr. Richardson made my college English experience go way better than I had expected. I had taken two semesters of her class one online and one on campus. As long as you put in the expected work and make improvements, you should be good to qualify for her B contract. I earned an A in her classes by becoming a team captain and qualifying for the B.

Gives constant work before you finish the first one, rude, doesnt care about your benifit or helping you, if you do something wrong youre SOL dont expect her to be merciful. Lots of papers and all group work and in class conferences every week.

Rude, unorganized, not helpful, the list goes on. She talks to her students like they are children. Her online course is so unorganized. I was so confused when I started her class and all I received from her was rude emails talking to me like I was stupid instead of just helping a confused first time student. Do NOT take her class.

This professor is by far the worst I have had at Macomb. I took her ENGL1190 class online and mind you, this was only my second semester of college so EVERYTHING is new to me. If you work 40+ hours a week and have a family, DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS! She could care less. This professor is one that thinks your life should revolve around her class.

She treats her students like they're in high school. If we forget to do a reading she yells at the class. She isn't clear with her instructions. She doesn't show us our grade till she the midterm and end of the semester so I didn't know what my grade was the entire time. She gives out too much homework, and it's hard to keep up with if you're busy.

I'm genuinely shocked to find out that Dr. Sue has such a low rating on this website. It is not deserved. There is a lot of work and effort that you'll need to put forth in order to pass her class, but that hard work WILL NOT go unnoticed by her. She cares a great deal about writing and knows how to help her students improve their writing pieces.

Professor Richardson gives you clear criteria to receive a B in the class. You have to participate in the forum 4-5 times a week, turn in your papers, and peer edit. If you go above and beyond in your editing, she will give you an A. She gives really helpful feedback to improve your papers. Overall really easy as long as you put in the work.

I dislike Richardson in the beginning because of the workload, but I guarantee if you work hard, she will reward you. You attend her class to learn how to write like a professional, not skip and do little to no work. We could use more professors like her!

she introduces paper after paper. you cant come to her for questions. no real lectures. most of the class you're on your own, doing nothing. you have a thing called conferences and if she doesn't agree with what you're writing about, she will make you feel like crap & you have to start all over. she is not nice and not lenient. Teacher offers little constructive feedback, and the class has a very illogical structure. There is also no lecture so don't expect to learn anything new. One grade dictates whether you pass or fail. Best read the ambiguous instructions right the first time or you'll waste hours on something she'll shake her head at and not read. Would not suggest.

Great professor. Class is relatively easy. You write about 5 essays throughout the semester and choose your best 3 for your final portfolio. At midterm myself and Professor did not think I would pass the class because of my attendance & missing a paper. However showing up and really taking feedback fixed it. She gives great feedback on every essay!

If you a professor that throws tantrums when her exact orders are not followed to the dot you've found her. She makes alot of non important tasks necessary and she has a very rude attitude. Granted if you keep up with the material and write well it wont be a hard class but that attitude has to go.
