Comment:

Kwestel will make you feel like you know nothing but in reality you know more than you think. Read all the cases. Dont slack. Quimbee and Emanuel will save you. His classes are hilarious. Dont let other students get in your head- this should be the class you worry about least as long as you dont fall behind.

The professor spent the first two weeks of class on attendance for about 45 mins a class. The professor is not understandable in class and he often pauses to make jokes. The professor does not answer people's questions and when he asks questions there never seems to be a right answer. He assigns a lot of cases but doesn't spend much time on them

Comment:

Kwesty is the GOAT. He will make you work for it. He will not go through all of the readings and expect you to ask questions if you don't understand, otherwise he just breezes through the material. Plenty of practice essays and mc. This class taught me how to study in law school.

I had Kwestel for contracts and loved his course. His sense of humor takes getting use to, but one of few professors with big law firm partner experience, and it shows.

Professor Kwestel is a real gem. He was my very first professor in my law school career. He helps you learn without realizing his parables are actually teaching you important contract rules. 10/10 would take again! And I did, Contracts I & II, and sales as an elective. P.S. you don't have to read, just Quimbee.

If you have him for contracts you are at a disadvantage. The first month in class he will take an hour taking attendance. He only teaches to the first two rows of the class and be ready to teach yourself.

He was probably a great professor years ago nicely said he possibly past his prime in teaching years he told the class he failed one person in his life who wrote nothing on the final (the only grade) most of the class does nothing and he gives you essays at the end of the semester which are on the final you teach yourself everything

The thing is you have to be a hard worker to pass. Students at Touro are lazy, and dont know how to work hard. Professor Kwestel is interested in helping students who want to be helped. Use Acing Contracts, Farnsworth, and Calamri and Perrillo. READ AND KNOW RESTATEMENTS!!!! I recently transferred schools, but I loved kwestel.

Horrible. Everyone learned everything from outside sources. Be prepared to teach yourself everything because you won't learn a single thing from him. It's unfortunate because contracts is such an important course. Anyone who has him is at a complete disadvantage for the future.

He is a very smart and interesting professor. He enjoys teaching the material and wants to give that over to the class. I would suggest to everyone to take this class. He is a very good and wholehearted person.

He knows the material but is very unclear.. by the middle of the semester most of the class will stop reading.. just continue to read.. when studying for final read acing contracts AND an additional supplement.. it will separate you from everybody else. Acing contracts is good.. but it doesn't have everything.

Acing Contracts will be your holy grail, because you will be lost in his class. Answers everything in the negative or doesn't answer your question at all. If the school really did care about its students, they wouldn't have this guy teach 1Ls

This guy's GREAT! If you're a night student and have real life experience, you get this guy. Good teacher. Yes, Socratic method, but a really good teacher. Will open your mind and keep you on your toes.

Try to pay attention in class, and notwithstanding his demeanor and tardyness, he's okay. If he quotes a restatement section, write it down. If he gives you a citation to any case, write it down and read it. And if he quotes any outside source, like Callimari and Perrillo or Fransworth look it up. Do all of these and you will be fine.

He's funny, and comes off way more intimidating than his grading actually is. Just rely on the fact that the other people in the class are just as lost as you, the grade is on a curve, and your at Touro (jus sayin)

My problem with Kwestel is not with his teaching. My problem is his punctuality. He comes to class on average, 7 minutes late, every class. Furthermore, he is the last professor this term to hand in his grades. I am still waiting for my grade right now and the deadline was 4 days ago. Do not listen to the other comments.Stay away from emanuels

Don't expect to learn much from him. All my contracts knowledge came from my Emmanuel. Although he is an easy grader. He was a nice man but inadequate as a professor. Thank you Touro for taking my money!

Professor Kwestel seems to be a nice older man whom you could probably relate to being your sweet old grandfather. Beyond that appeal, it is universally accepted throughout Touro that his teaching style is inadequate. He should not be teaching first year law students. His classic sayings "whaaat" and "why worry" are untrue, you should worry..alot
