I loved my 2 classes with Ted, it could be a little boring at times, but i learned alot of interesting things. He doesn't ask a lot from his students, just that you should up and participate. He loves people that ask good questions and he always has amazing answers.

I got almost none of the processes wrong on any of the quizzes, but with a few conversion errors per quiz, I was never able to get above an 89%. They're the only graded work, so there was no way for me to get an A in the class - because of unit conversions. Not what I signed up for. I learned almost nothing about physics.

Ted's nice and very smart, but the way he teaches is infuriating. Even though I got good grades, I hated every class. I wouldn't recommend this class to anybody who has a choice.

Ted is great! He knows his stuff, and he can present it well. That said, pay attention, I watched a couple people's grades take a nose-dive after they got complacent and started goofing off. but Ted is a seriously great guy, and if you try, you'll suceed

Ted is a great professor when it comes to physics. I took both 111 and 112 and he was super helpful if you went to him for help. He does a bunch of examples and helps you prepare for tests and quizzes really well. His tangents about space can throw people off but if you pay attention you'll be fine.

This teacher is an engineer teaching a very difficult subject. He teaches like a engineer, so if that isn't your major be prepared for a VERY difficult semester.

Ted is a great guy- I'm glad I had the chance to meet him. But this class drove me up the wall. His tests are all open- open book, open notes, open internet. So, if you only care about your grade, it's easy. But if you want to actually digest and understand the material, you are going to be very frustrated. Lectures and handouts are clear as mud.

Looks likes hes on autopilot, just barges through material and doesn't care if you learn it or not. tests on things that were not covered in class. very smart guy, but not a great teacher anymore

Okay Ted is an awesome teacher. Very funny and a great lecturer He opens the floor for questions and really takes the time to explain even the most complicated things in a way you can understand. So.. he makes the class very interesting but it sucks if you like to be prepared for your exams and quizes. He's not clear at all when you have exams.....

Ted is an awesome professor. Barely had any homework and we watched very informing videos every day. The tests were medium difficulty and are based on text, notes, and movies. Great class I recommend it. Pretty easy except tests. He's a funny guy and his rants are quite interesting. Overall, very good class and professor :)

Ted is a fantastic person. He is hilarious and brilliant and a delight to be around. That being said, his class moves very quickly and you need to have a firm handle on reading the book to pass. He does not lecture, he just does problems out on the board. All exams are open note and you grade yourself. Easy to do well, more difficult to learn.

Ted is a great guy, and his classes are fun and interesting, but you have to ask the questions. If you don't ask, he'll assume you know. He knows so much about so many subjects, and he's very understanding about any problems or extensions you might need. I highly recommend him, took Physics just to have another class with him.

Johnson is only helpful to the older students (50+). To the younger generations its a save yourself type atmosphere. When people asked for help he was put off and annoyed then continued to give a quiz even after more than 75% of the class had questions and told him they didn't understand the material.

Meteorology can be quite frustrating with him as he speeds by topics. All tests and quiz's are open book open notes, but it's difficult when he literally only gives 15 min. for you to complete it. Watches a lot of movies, and he's a really nice and funny guy, but your grade is based on just quiz's and tests. no homework

A frustrating professor- could be great, but has a tendency for off-topic political rants. For a science professor, he's very inclined to forget about scientific things like critically analyzing research and evidence when his personal political views are involved.

Best professor ever! Had him for meteorology (my favorite class I have ever taken and I didn't even want to take it) and physics with calc I and II. Class is easy and has open note tests, but you will learn so much and he teaches so well. He is also very willing to help and really knows his stuff!
