As long as you stay on top of the homeworks, you won't do poorly. Doing the homework is a LOT of help when preparing for the exams. If you skip a few classes you'll still do fine.

Although attendance in not mandatory, I found myself worrying that if I skipped class I would fail. Not a strong teacher, personally I learned more about beer than statistics. Had to go to substantial tutoring outside of class despite math being one of my best subjects. Great guy, horrible teacher.

Hes honestly a great professor and person. Tells side stories and talks about his life a little, very engaging. Come to class and do handouts, pretty easy usually get out early. Three tests, with the homework assignments due the night before! Easy to get A-B if you study.

Dr. Hair always lets class out early and there isn't a whole lot of work to do. The only grades are 3 cumulative tests and 3 cumulative online homework assignments. He answers questions clearly and is very kind and forgiving. Doesn't take attendance nor does he care about being a few minutes late. Awesome math professor and teacher.

Professor is organized, caring, straight to the point. There are 3 tests 3 homework assignments total. Show up to class, lectures are to help with homework and tests . The handouts make all the difference. 2nd test is the most difficult (probabilities) Complete each homework assignment prior to each test, it's a great way to prep for tests.

An absolute pleasure as a professor and genuinely really nice guy. The effort you put in, in his class truly reflects your grade. He does not waste your time. He tells you exactly what you need to know, and will clarify as much as he has to until you understand. Wish I could take more of his classes. Shocked he only has a 3.7. More than fair guy.

Probably helped that I took stats before, but Hair is the best stats professor at FGCU. His course is a lot easier than other professors, and his tests are cake if you do the in class worksheets. Homework can be a pain, but you can keep doing the homework till you get it right. If you've gotta take stats, this is your guy.

This class is difficult if you do not attend frequently. All his homework is due right before the final, so if you procrastinate, make sure you dont leave it all for the last minute. Three tests and homework is all he grades on. He goes off on tangents a lot during his lecture. I'm good at math and this was a difficult class.

This class is an easy A if you put in the effort. His grades are made up of 3 tests and a homework grade. All of the tests have study guides to them, so make sure to work the problems out. The last test is considered your "final" and you are allowed to bring in one sheet of notes. His lectures do really help to understand the material in stats.

Professor Hair is super chill. Cancels class basically every chance he gets. Class is super easy and it's hard for him to teach because it's so basic. Homework weighs more than homework, he really wants you to pass his class and really cares for his students. 5-6 chapter tests and homework is due like a month after you take test

Great professor. Grades include 3 homework assignments and 3 tests. He's very good at teaching stats and I've recommended him to many people. As long as you pay attention to the lessons each class, take notes, and do the homework, you should be well prepared for the tests.

If you just need to take stats because of its requirement then this is the professor for you. This class is very easy to pass because his practice exams are identical to his real exam. There are only 4 grades, 3 are the exams and the last one is the homework. No final. He speeds through class and lets you leave early.

Professor Hair designs the course so that earning an A is very accessible. The whole class is only three homework sections and three exams. Attending class isn't mandatory but he passes out the previous semester's exams and goes through the material so that you are well prepared with the exam. Very interesting guy who is easy to listen to

I would take him again. His notes are all over the place and I found him hard to follow. He is a really cool guy who really likes to talk about William Gousset so be prepared to learn about "the beer guy" every class. He cancels class and you can skip and still get the worksheets for the test.. overall he is a great guy & I would take again.

Dr. Hair is really a great professor. Summer A Stats class which I was unsure about because it is a lot of material in a short amount of time. Fear not, it was clearly laid out each day what we needed to know for the homework and exams. 3 exams, 1 homework grade, and daily worksheets to simulate exam questions. Would highly recommend this prof!

Dr. Hair is the best! He sets up his grading in a way that it's almost impossible to get anything below a B. He reviews before every test and is very clear as to what he expects. He loves teaching and he is hilarious. Best math professor at FGCU! He also gives a little extra credit and cancels class often. Take him!
