So, I'm terrible at math and I never understood anything from exam 3 on... But, I basically just ended up writing random stuff with random answers down for the exams and he still gave me half the points for each problem just for trying. And then to make it even better he curves every exam so much that I would get at least a C or better.

Marvin goes over everything really fast and doesn't actually teach you it, he just shows you all the answers. Before each exam i had to basically teach myself everything. The exams are semi easy but he curves literally everything so you end up with, at the lowest, a C. He curves every exam and the overall final grade. You end up learning nothing.

This class was super easy. Honestly, kids that struggle with this class are dumb and didn't know that their TI-84 Calculator do all the problems that he covers for the semester. Easiest "A" of my life. The other students are too blind/lazy to realize that this class was super easy. SMH at all the stupid idiots that couldn't pull an A in this class.

If you don't have a PC, don't take. Need a PC to use the program he uses. He isn't clear at all so if you aren't good at stats, don't take. The only reason students pass is because of the huge curve. I would avoid if you want better than a B.

Unless you're really good at STATS, this class might be tough for you. He flies through lectures, so pay very close attention. Huge curve on tests and very little homework. I had to attend every class to avoid major confusion. Study powerpoints and practice questions to get at least a B on the exams.

Literally love him! I want to take more classes with him. He is hysterical. He is very clear with the material, my advice is to study the practice problems before the test!! He's a really great guy!

MAKE SURE you have a PC for this course as MiniTab, where assignments are done, does not work for students with Mac. Wish I would've known this beforehand. That's my only complaint.

So glad I took Wolfmeyer for this class. Though lectures can get pretty long at times, he cracks jokes every so often. Print off the notes before class, as he does go through the slides quickly. Go over the practice problems before the exam, and you should do fine. Four exams before one cumulative final. He does give the equations you will need!

Professor Wolfmeyer keeps class entertaining and light. As long as you attend the lectures, do the homework, and study the practice problems you shouldn't have too many issues. I studied the practice problems for a few hours the night before exams, and had few issues on the test. He curves as well.

Marvin is a good professor. He only gives four tests before the final exam, all of which have a huge curve. He also gives you all of the equations for the problem. Go over the practice problems he does in class before an exam, and you will do fine.

Professor Wolfmeyer was a good teacher. He was clear with his lectures and would gladly explain something again if needed. His lectures did tend to be long and boring. But I found the class to be pretty easy. Overall, I'd recommend him.

His class made me want to rip my hair out. I failed every one of his test and because he curves so much I got a B in the class. He isn't willing to help at all, even when you go in during his office hours, he seems irritated that you even came. Overall this class sucks, you'll pass but learn nothing at all. AVOID IF POSSIBLE!

PROS: He curves your tests real nicely. He also gives you all the equations at the bottom of each test. CONS: His lectures were very boring. He can turn a 5 slide presentation to a 2 hour lecture. He does all the practice problems on the chalk board, but doesn't really explain them. Conclusion, only take him if you plan on going to class.

Wolfmeyer is a great professor. HeĆ¢€™s adorable, always crackin jokes. Attend class, take good notes, and you'll do just fine! To those that complained, you clearly haven't taken many classes at WSU. This guy is one of the good ones--they are few and far between.

As long as you go over the practice problems that he goes over in class you will do fine on the test. They are set up the same way.He curves all tests so everyone is guaranteed to get at least a C. Lectures are very boring and you have to go over materials on your own time but it isn't bad. 4 minitab assignments that he gives you the answers to.

He does not go over material in a good way. I am generally good at math and this just left me feeling confused and angry. He is not helpful outside of class. Don't take this class if you actually want to learn and understand. It's frustrating as a person who actually wanted to use my tuition to good use.

Goes over material WAY too quickly. We all race to take notes for an hour and a half. Do not take this professor if you aren't good with numbers, or math in general. He has a good curve, but most students generally get C's on exams with the curve. Very boring, and hard to sit through.

His lectures are extremely easy to understand, he is a bit bland, but you know what to expect on tests. If you do the practice problems, they are just like the problems on the test. Pretty sure he curves. 4 SUPER EASY minitab assignments. Super chill teacher. Gives tests back within 2 days, had my final grade up within 24 hours of the final.
