Another review from me about Sears. Once again an excellent teacher who is fun to be around. His managerial accounting class is MUCH easier than Accounting I, II, or Taxation.

Very good professor...top-notch in my book. More serious about attendance than homework. Has an excellent way of teaching..(lecture 1 day, problem solving other 2). Fun guy to be around when outside the classroom.

He knows what he is talking about. Make sure you do your homework because he collects it randomly. THe homework problems are the EXACT same problems on the test- so make sure you do them! Don't take accounting1 with anyone but Sears.

Don't come late to class, because he'll lock you out - and bsides using chalk as a torture device, he has this embalbed snake he brings out for people who fall asleep - highly disturbing, but he knows his stuff, and if you do the work, you'll know it too

I finished at the top of my accounting classes... except the one Sears taught. His political views and personal beliefs often got in the way of teaching, and his patience with students was practically non-existent. IMO.... avoid at all costs.

I had Sears 6 years ago, and what i have leard is still with me today. He is a great teacher and cares about his students (although when you first meet him, you are not sure)...I enjoyed his classes and LEARNED so much.

Great professor. I feel asleep in his class during pledging, he put chalk in my mouth to try to wake me. I did not wake up, but he still gave me a C+, when I definatly did not earn it. Big Republican too, which is a plus.
