Tim is really clear, helpful and humorous during lectures. As long as you really think about the materials and turn homework in, you will get As regardless of whether you did all correctly or not.

Tim's enthusiasm for Calculus was obvious and refreshing. However, the setup of the class can be a bit stressful. He gives a lot of homework in addition to a number of time consuming labs throughout the semester. He also gives few tests, and while this sounds nice, it can really hinder students full understanding of the course.

Tim is great. I want to be Tim when I grow up. He is somewhat disorganized and has a tendency to follow tangents in his lectures, but he thinks carefully about the ideas he presents and works to develop them from ideas that students already understand.

Tim is a wonderful teacher. His enthusiasm for the subject is obvious and infectious, but he is also explains ideas very clearly and is patinent when studnents don't understand. Taking his class is a joy and I think that even someone who was not a math lover could enjoy it and learn a lot. He might even come away a convert!

Tim was one of my favorite teachers and I still wish I had taken more courses with him. He truly makes coming to class fun and he is very approachable. Definitely a good teacher and I would recommend you take as many courses with him as you can handle.

A great person, and great teacher. His jokes will keep you focused and his teaching ability will makes things clear. He is also a good story teller, and he has lots of experience in the field so he will make some very cool side tracks now and then.
