Prof. Willet is the kindest, sweetest prof. He is so smart, his tests are not hard, he is patient with his students, accommodating & very open to help. He has definitely been one of the best profs to understand material from & is an incredible person. I have reached out to him on multiple occasions for personal and academic reasons & he's helpful

Prof Willett is a sweet prof, but I really just cannot understand what he is saying sometimes. This class is only based on two midterms and a final and an optional paper. HIS TESTS ARE SO HARD, usually 40 free response questions for midterm and 50 for final, and most questions are pretty vague. But he does hold office hours but theyre only kinda he

Grade inflation is his policy. He gave sample exams, then had special review sessions where he answered the questions in the exams. The exam for his class, was almost identical to the sample exams. Also, he gave an optional 2nd midterm for people who did poorly on the first. I missed six weeks of class and got over 100% in the class.

Brilliant guy, horrible teacher, but who's in grad school for the teaching? His students write good dissertations, publish with him in good journals, and get good jobs afterwards. He's not so great in class, but he does wonders for your career. Super nice guy, too.
