Dr. Standley is very understanding and willing to help her students outside of class with scheduling and other things. However, she does have a lot to say and her rambling can get quite annoying.

She is unconfident. Brings personal life to the class. You don't learn anything. She will embarrass you. Gossips way to much. No one every pays attention because the class is boring. Needs better people skills. Get on her good side or she will tear you to shreads.

Dr. Standley is probably the worst professor I've taken at McNeese. She is very unapproachable, rude, and isn't afraid of calling you out in front of the whole class to embarrass you. She's a fairly easy grader, but this class won't be enjoyable unless you work very hard to get on her good side.

Incompetence at its worst. She is in a different mood everyday and when she is tired &ready to end class, watch out. Pretty much begs students in her required classes to drop because she is overwhelmed. She grades unfairly and inconsistently and doesnt explain what she assigns well. One of the worst professors I have ever had.

Very nice, helpful, and considerate. FFND is a pretty useless class, but she makes it as interesting as possible. We didn't use our books at all, so I would not recommend wasting money on the FFND book.

Dr.Standley is an awesome teacher. Even though FFND was just a mandatory class, she got us all involved. She is willing to help you outside of class with scheduling and anything that has to do with the MCOM department. Definitely helped me out. Highly recommend any of her classes.

Classes with her is great. Shes a great person who is very sweet and caring. I feel her emotions tend to get the best of her at times but we are humans, right? Anyways, classes can be an easy A but only if you do the work. Get on her good side and she will make being her student VERY fun and pleasant. She will be your best friend.

Don't even read the negative comments... Dr. Standley is the bomb. She is probably one of the nicest teachers on campus and is always willing to work with you. MCOM 210 was a breeze and anyone that makes less than a B in that class.. probably didn't care.

This is the first time I had Dr. Standley for a real class and I took this one online though she is very easy, the way she grades is confusing and she offers little to no explanation as to how she came to the grade she will give you. Also she may take a while grading stuff especially if its online...proceed with caution with this one!!!
