I took her class last fall, and I picked up on her irritation with male students without even reading the comments here. Apparently she has openly favored female students for quite a while. I have no problem with strong women; it is a matter of wishing to be treated fairly by a teacher who is supposed to accomodate all students -- not just females.

Trudy is a good teacher; however, her opinions are stilted by her ueberfeminism. While she may be very learned in the art of writing in the English language, she is failing in the art of social skills. Don't try to interact with Trudy outside of class!

Dr. Lewis is my hero! And her book, well at least her story collection (b/c that is all I have read), is wonderful as well. Trudy challenged me and forced me to look at many sides of a situation plus she was always supplementing the text w/ commetary.

she cared more about her book (and her female students) than she did the three or four guys in the section...she is arrogant and self-serving and not much help outside class....avoid at all costs, seriously....plus I read her crummy book...she is a hack!

Trudy is the best! She is a genius and always pushes people to do their finest work. Also has a great sense of humor.
