Comment:

He is a very good teacher and knows his stuff when it comes to linear algebra. Sometimes he goes over steps expecting you to know what he is talking about when he's teaching you new material. He is very good at letting you know about tests,HW, and quizzes ahead of time and lets you decide when you would prefer to have each one due. Heavy accent

Cares about his students. Willing to help when needed. Gives individual work for extra credit. Also gives quizzes and group work. Good amount of homework that is online (Do well on homework because it helps overall grade). Explains new material with examples that are hard to follow at times (doesn't explain examples well). Had to teach myself

I had this prof. for Calc 1. Let me put it this way. He cares about teaching all of you and he is REALLY intelligent but it's hard for a smart person to dumb things down. He literally "pushes you into the deep end". On example problems, he'll say "no this is too easy" and re-write it to where its impossible. He LOVES ln and e functions.

Summer Pre-Cal 1. He uses a free online textbook. You only have to pay for the access code for emath where you will take quizzes and do homework. He gives extra credit at the end of each class over the section we did that day. You review the material at least 4 times before an exam so I felt well prepared. Gives pre-tests and exams are similar.

if you want to pass you have to go to class everyday and solve lots of problems because he gives quizzes almost everyday and they help with final grades as long as you are doing good on them. he is not too strict in grading and he sometimes gives extra credit when needed. the way he talks makes you fall as sleep & only 2 tests & a final.

I just took him for Cal I. I got an A in the class. The cons are he is not a very good teacher. The pros are he tells you what will be on the test. He test questions are VERY similar to the online hw as well as the end of the chapter questions he gives. There is hw, question, and group work to boost grade. Make sure to study ln and e situations.

He does sometimes make simple errors when working problems, but he works a lot of problems in class. Was always available during office hours. You will not be spoon fed in his class. IMO, you must keep up. Do not fall behind. Always do your homework and be ready to ask questions on what you don't understand. You need to attend class.

If you plan on taking this professor, don't! He messes up on doing examples. You can't use a calculator, which makes it tough to do! Also his accent is hard to understand.

Worst math professor at Lamar. Very confusing and gets simple stuff wrong all the time. If you don't know the material going in, don't take him.

The worst math professor at Lamar. I don't know how he still has a job, because when he's not busy making simple algebra mistakes or taking a year to get a sentence out, he likes to not know what he's talking about. Which is impressive because he just goes straight from the book, except for his "easy" tests.

He grades really easy compared to most math teachers. He skips steps A LOT so if you are not fast at taking notes, don't take him. I had him for Cal 2 and about half my class has to take it over because he confused the whole class just about every class. Your homework grade is all based off of quizzes. You MUST do the homeworks to be able to pass.

He is a hard teacher. Be ready to take an insane amount of quizzes and have a good amount of homework. Don't be scared though because I literally only passed 2 of the quizzes and still make an A. Do good on the tests and always volunteer to put problems on the board. You get extra credit on quizzes for it. He takes attendance. Good teacher though.

DO ALL HOMEWORK for his class. 20% of grade comes from volunteering to work out problems on the board. Has quizzes occasionally. Has an accent which is cute at times but somewhat hard to understand. I basically had to teach everything to myself cause he wouldn't explain things well. Overall, he's a challenging professor and you'll have to work. :)

I have had Dr. Andreev for Calc 1, 2, 3, and now diff eq. He isn't the best teacher but his tests are straight from the HW and grades very fairly with a curve. Use cramster and make an A every time.

This guy is funny! He always me me laugh! His class is super easy. I bought the book and never took it to class and never did the homework and I got a B. He explains well and is helpful to those who needed it. Easy A for sure!
