Goes off in a tangent ... Alotttt ... then oh his exams which he refers to as Quizzes have like 15 short answer questions which r 3 pt a piece n they ask about something he didn't even cover in lecture but things u shud have found out while studying for his "quizzes" (exams) ... I passed his class but wud not recommend unless u want to punish urself

Hardest class I've ever taken! I LOVE Biology and he has interesting lectures... but NOTHING from lecture is on the tests. I went to study group, read the chapters, attended clas, took thorough notes and STILL only pulled off a LOW B. With all of the studying we did, everyone that survived until the end of the semester should have made an A++.

I have him for lab & you would think it was lecture. He's horrible. Quiz questions do not come from lab manual like he says. He talks way too much and lectures about things that our professors go over in lecture. He rambles on and you forget what you're going over in LAB! His tests are also hard.. He's just difficult.

Lectures don't help. In order to do well in this class you have to READ THE BOOK. The tests are over several chapters so I would suggest reading the book as you go along instead of waiting til right before the tests. He is a nice man, but there's just too much info to squeeze in. Prepare to study.. a lot.. to do well in his class.

old, horrible professor. he claims his tests are from the notes.. but they aren't. i recommend recording lectures. he doesn't help much when you go to his office either. overall, warren sucks.. do NOT take him if you can help it. funny guy tho lol

He was the worst professor I have EVER had. His tests were nearly impossible to pass and I took excellent notes, read the chapters, got supplemental materials off the internet. I did everything just short of cheating and still only got a C. He tells you his tests are straight from the notes, but they are NOT! They aren't even from the book

I'M IN HIS CLASS NOW AND IM A FRESHAN COMING TO HIS CLASS. I DOING GOOD. A LOT OF STUDYING. LAB ARE EASY TO ME IF U STUDY. YES U HAVE TO READ BOOK BUT ABOUT 70% COMES FROM NOTES. VERY INTERESTING CLASS. GOOD LECTURE TEACHER. TEST ARE KINDA HARD.

This is one of the best classes I ever had. Now, he wasn't easy......you had to work. I got a B....the hardest B I ever got, but I earned it. Tape record the lectures and go home and fill in the blanks in the notes.

His lectures were very interesting and funny. To make good grades on his test i would suggest you find someone with old tests bc he reuses alot of questions. Also, it's not neccessary to read the book as long as you take thorough notes. It's easy if you put forth a little efort.

I think this was the best class I've ever had! I found his lectures to be so interesting. I really think I learned quite a bit in this class. His lecture tests were a bit confusing but I pulled off an A. The lab part was extremely easy as well as long as you study a little bit. Overall, I LOVED Dr. Warren's class.I wish he taught more classes

funny guy! his class is very hard to pass though. he says that the tests are from his lecture notes, but that just doesnt seem to be true. you have to read to pass. if you are borderline he will give you a few points. i you are looking fr an easy A i suggest you find another teacher.

The only way to pass is if you read the whole chapter that he says is going to be on the test. His test have nothing to do with the lecture notes. The lab part of this class was fairly simple but the only thing that will bring you down would me the lecture part of the class. if you are not really interested in biology then i would recommend another

Him and his little bow tie... He is a good teacher and his class is very interesting, but his tests often have NOTHING to do with lecture. You are better off studying any old tests you can find!
