Comment:

This teacher isn't the best, but shes currently one of the best for Quantitative Literacy on campus. Everything is clearly graded and there are lots of extra credit opportunities, but you can miss a lot of material by skipping just one class. Downside, I ended up spending 2 -3 hours a week in the tutoring center due to some bad explanations.

She gives a quiz every day, but it helps you be sure that you know the material. Tests were exactly like the quizzes just slightly different numbers. Some people said that her accent was hard to understand, I had no problems. It was an easy A for me

Does not usually help students one to one and does not like to reteach anything, will tell you to get a tutor instead. Moves very quickly and does not give much time to understand before a quiz is given. Still knows what she is talking about, just takes the independent learning approach. Do not recommend to those not already good at math.

She makes sure students know the material well, I feel prepared for my future MathPhysicsEngineering classes. However the class is brutally difficult for many people. We started with 18 people in our class. 7 people were left at the end (I think every one of those seven passed though). Studyreview constantly and you will be okay!

She's a tough teacher. She gives lots of homework, and class and online quizzes so there is lots of work, but if you do all of them you will surely answer most of the test questions. I would personally recommend it to a person who likes to be challenged. Got an A and worth it.

If you don't need this class or aren't extremely interested in math... Take someone else. She expects you to know and understand basic concepts and to spend a lot of time studying and doing homework. Most of our class dropped but I thought she was a great teacher.

She really cares about her students and pushes you to do your best! She did assign a lot of homework, BUT, she passed around answers to those homeworks too which made it easier. Moreover, we did not have to turn in the HW for a grade! She is extremely helpful outside class too and is very flexible with her timings! Highly recommended.

I think she's a good teacher....for someone that is already good in math. She is very fast with the material, I did all the homework and I'm not a mat wiz. And I still couldn't get a "C" on the test. I even had a study buddy!

Hard to understand, doesn't explain the material very well and goes very fast jumps around and doesn?t answer question very well either. Im pretty good in math but she drowned me with all her jumping around.

Ok, I know this isn't high school anymore, but I found it impossible to keep up and understand this teacher. She goes extreamely fast, and assigns tons of homework. If you have her for a teacher expect not to have a life for a semester. When I took her class just trying to understand the homework took about 3 hours. So my other classes suffered

I did well in this class only bc I took it upon myself to learn the material. The class itself didnt help me at all and if you have trouble learning math on your own then you are SOL. She gets attitude with students too, especially if they are frustrated bc they cant understand her.

she is very helpful when ever you ask. her hw's are hard, but the tests come from the hw's. and i don't think her english is bad. the class is haaaard unless you do the homework which is harder.

She is not an easy teacher to take. Her English is not bad, but the accent is sometimes confusing. She assigns a lot of homework that you really need to do. She does not give breaks, expect to have to work hard to get the grade you want.
