Lectures and classes seemed irrelevant to actual course material. Requirements were unclear, but perhaps this is due to her teaching in a UK university for the first time (I believe). Irrelevant and sometimes inaccessible reading lists. Awkward manner.

Comment:

I thought her class was informative and I enjoyed the books that I read. Not one of my favorite professors or classes at Hartwick but she is certainly not a bad professor, as some have suggested. I DO know for a fact however, that she is inspiring/helpful to students who are particularly interested in topics similar to hers.

Does not know anything besides feminazism. I mentioned that I didn't think women should be on the front line and she held a grudge against me and unprofessionally talked about me to other students because of my comment. She is slow to understand points made in class, and she doesn't know a lot of important facts about her own focused time period.

Well, where do I start...? She is the biggest feminist I know and its "her way or the highway." Howard holds a grudge towards anyone who debates against women. SHe will not accept any tardy assignments & she gives pop quizzes! Dont take her if you do not have to, trust me!
